Should keep this thread on topic. Another loss for the not so long ago Champions.

Shame because I was cheering them on yesterday.

Some of us have to resign ourselves to watching a **** team play at the top end of the table week in week out....others have to be content with watching a **** team play at the wrong end of the table week in week out.

I know which one I'd have.
Do you get to watch many Palace games then Spursy ?

‘Domination in Europe’ <rofl>

By HIAG’s logic Arsenal also dominate in Europe as we’ve also topped our CL group in the past.

It's like winning the 3rd and 4th round of the FA cup and claiming that you are "dominating" the FA Cup.
You have dominated your CL group, I'll give you that.
Spurs have been excellent in Europe this year.

Holding the CL title and EL title at the SAME TIME, and being the first club from England to win every European trophy, THAT is dominating Europe ;)

Chelsea have entered the pantheon of clubs that have won all three major UEFA trophies.
Up until United's EL win last season, we were the only English club to have done it.
Arsenal and Spurs can both join that group if they grab a CL title.
Liverpool can never join that group because the trophy they are missing is now defunct.
City need a CL and EL win to complete the set.

We beat them 3-0 last night. The 2nd half doesn't count as Moreno left his brain in the changing rooms.
Apologies bud. I think we should retrospectively be awarded last seasons title on the basis that our squad left their brains back at home all season and if they hadn’t we’d have smashed the league with 100 points <whistle>

It’s not, though, is it, mate.

I refer specifically to us having topped the group of death. No one gave us a chance of getting out of it. The ‘Pede was tanking at its collective helmet as soon as the group was announced.

I may have exaggerated slightly, but the achievement is clearly far more impressive than getting down to the last handful in the FA Cup.
