You miss the glaring point Big clubs only tend to buy proven top class players hence why they are all at top successful clubs. The fact is Spurs are neither big or successful and are just being used as a stepping stone on their way to these big successful clubs. Remember you have to remember your place in the grand scheme of things and currently youre a feeder club selling club. <ok>

Kane is world class, he could get into just about any team in Europe.

And I’m sure many so called top successful clubs would love to have Kane.

But he plays for Spurs. Which, of course, is your objection to his success.

He wasn't deadly against Chelsea, Man Utd or Arsenal? I thought you said he was world class?

Like any striker, he needs those around him to be performing and giving him chances to score. That didn’t happen, especially against Arsenal - where he was nowhere near 100% match fit anyway.

Not sure I agree with your reasoning, haven't you been selling him off to the top clubs for months?

Not me personally! Just quoting the BBC gossip column that everybody else does. Personally I'd like him to stay put and pass up his shot at the big time with Spurs. Poetic that would be. :)

Go stalk one of your regulars Stan, this debate is about football and you would be out of your depth. <ok>

That's all it is for him.

Like I say I don't believe he's quite there yet but it's not based on a stupid anti Spurs bias.

Not at all, I think he's come on well and is a classy striker. World Class is banded about all too easily as you Spuds no doubt think 70% of your players meet that criteria, whereas your trophy cabinet tells a totally different story.

Daft old soak knows the square root of **** all about football. I suspect that when he got into it he was more into the fighting and abuse than the football. He genuinely has no understanding of what he’s watching.

Have you seen the plates of **** he’s posted in the misguided belief that he’s some kind of chef? <laugh>

Exactly Stan! This is another example of you knowing everything but knowing nothing and I'll hand you back your arse now as I owned and ran a very successful restaurant and catering business for many years. I also believe you actually don't realise the ****e you spout, no wonder youre so loved on the politics thread. :)

Possibly a combination of too much drink, too much heat and a permanently sore arsehole.

Guaranteed that he’s now focussed on Stan and/or HIAG.

Agreed that it’s a tad subjective, but as goalscorers go there ain’t many better.

To win the golden boot two seasons in a row whilst playing for this “small insignificant club” I would have thought was some achievement!..
