Leeds 6th October for me. Going with Acklams. Easy enough coach there and back.

Same as Cortez.

Girlfriend nearly had a fit when she got the tickets.

I don’t know how people are struggling for tickets. I got ten for friends and family over various dates. Kept getting straight through.

If I want to watch some fat Northern bloke make a tit of himself it's cheaper to go down Holderness Road.

I remember seeing him on Granada TV in the 90s – thought he was ****. He was just breaking through at the time and I remember one of his local poster taglines was: “Like Les Dawson on Speed”. Such lazy hackneyed comparatives just compounded my initial reaction.

But he won me ‘round with that Peter Kay Thing (or whatever the series was called with the H&S dog fiddler and ice cream man who sold porn vids) and then PN.

But after that tiresome Garlic Bread repetition and other ****e, I’ve ****ed him off again.

He’s done some great stuff but, for me, he just got caught up with mainstream bullshit. Although, last thing I saw of him, he was doing some sort of near-the-knuckle homophobic gag at Judge Rinder – embarrassing.

That said, hope the tour is great for everyone going.

I think it's tough for comics to come up with new stuff all the time. Our beloved old comics kept the same act for most of their career.
At least Peter Kay hasn't gone down the route of panel shows. Though as you say some of its been crap. Car share was really good.

Good points. I've not seen CS though.

I suppose there's so much choice nowadays/competition for time spent, if stop liking something, I can quite easily put it down for good.

He was a judge on the final of Let It Shine when Robbie Williams withdrew. He ripped up the talent show format and he was the only part of that programme worth watching.
