Determined to keep on eating at the Top 4 table, Bambs. I would have thought that was obvious, to be fair.
I'll be honest with you mate....I'd rather nearly win most seasons instead of winning once then disappearing into the arse crack of football for oblivion. I watch great football most weekends when I watch my team. We've got some CL footy just round the corner..and we are in the mix below City....like the rest of the best. None of them ****s are winning it, not just us.
Personally would prefer to yoyo around winning a few things then doing **** than doing an arsenal (tbf they have won FA cups). Cant argue against entertaining and dominating footy though . Thats something poch does well and on a budget
Each to their own kicks Bobby....a trophy is great...but no one is entitled to it and with having the 6th highest budget in the PL....I'm content enough to quickly overcome the hard fact that the money bags find the success. I can't beat myself over that for long. Instead it's great to watch a team competing right at the top playing some great football, the odd superstar in the team and giving us games in Europe's elite competition. A trophy is nice but I understand quite why it doesn't happen. Have you seen the top 3 this morning? Money plays a massive role..my expectencies are on a par with my team. **** happens...so long as my team gives me plenty yo yo moments in a season and not just dragging their feet existing for the money in the PL...I have to be content whilst dreaming of being pumped with silly money. However there's something very satisfying in achieving without throwing money at every problem, especially in the context of football.
The only one bottling bets here is you mate. They are either all on or they are all off. Let’s the lads see you decide which it is here
Funny how spurs fans spend a decade telling everybody that Top 4 with no trophies was a load of **** when that’s what arsenal were doing, and now that Arsenal have won the FA cup 3 times in 4 seasons, it’s suddenly better to be in the top 4
No mate I'd love a trophy...let's be fair...it's your own fans that were not content with the FA cup. However once Spurs started to dominate or look like dominate proceedings in the league between the 2 clubs then Arsenal fans all of a sudden started to latch onto their FA cup success. However when they were above Spurs without a threat and winning the cup...they still wanted Wenger out and the FA cup wasn't enough.
...course you could do both ... win it once and then become a regular top ten candidate ... way better than being a 'nearly man' IMHO ... bit like being able to say "I shagged Beyonce" ... rather than "I never got close to shagging Beyonce but I regularly shagged some of her backing singers; that you won't have heard of" ... yuh get me?
Nope...I'd much rather shag the backing singers than that ****. I'd enjoy spending the years that follow getting touched up, flirted with and maybe the odd blow job from them on sparkly Wednesday nights than to be sat there with my cock in my hand thinking about the one time I managed to bend Beyonce's hippo arse over.
I wasn't totally convinced that he was any sort of upgrade on Puel (Who I thought was harshly) anyway really but he seems woefully out of his depth. **** knows who to get in, but we're heading for a relegation battle as it stands and will almost certainly be in the bottom 3 come xmas time.
Maybe some of the plastic Gooners see it that way mate. Personally I love the fact that we won the FA cup. Especially as we did it 3 times in 4 seasons. True that our aspirations are to win the league and we’ve been well off the pace, so I get the frustration. And of course, there’s always the needle between Gooners and Yids about the respective fortunes of our clubs, that’s natural. But a trophy is still a trophy, and it’s something that spurs would give their right arm for at the moment.
