...if you think relegation is a real possibility, Quentin, that bet is still waiting for you son ...

I would never accept such a bet, because I don't think you will get relegated, Bambs.

Yes, it is a real possibility, but do I think it will happen this season?

No, I don't.

Boy, oh boy! Have you got some real butt hurt ahead of you, Johnny.

As much as I love the wide-eyed and never-ending optimism and naivety of you rabid Foxes, I do fear for your mental health.
Not at all. I’m more concerned for your well-being after a third season of this thread to be left disappointed yet again.
We all know on this board that your knowledge is scratch the surface. Even if you were slightly brighter you’d know we’ve improved no end recently. Shame FIFA ditched us up with Silva but we’ve not got any worrying fixtures until late December now when we play Man U and Liverpool again

Yes, it was an uncharacteristically inept performance from us, yesterday. Unfortunately, we are prone to do that against the Gunners.

I suspect that over the course of the rest of the season, we will return to form, and that the Gunners will revert to type.

They always manage to scrap a half-decent performance against us. They'll be back to drawing against the likes of Stoke and Burnley, soon enough.

For us, it's about the likes of Kane, Dembele, Winks, and Eriksen recovering their full fitness, and getting back to business. I don't think there's even anything for us to "learn" from yesterday's game.

...uncharacteristically? ... you've now lost 3 games against your main rivals <laugh> ... that's more like "consistency" and, if you add the loss to West Ham in the Caribou, probably a pretty fair reflection of where Spurs are as a club right now realistically ... I realise that hurts you but you do need to start looking at football with a broader perspective than the BBC Gossip Column son <ok>

... <laugh> ... you worrying about the mental health of a fan whose team has won the EPL title on a thread you insist keeping alive because your own team didn't is arguably your funniest ever contribution to the forum, Quentin ... I do think your level of resentment is rather unhealthy and that you should go talk it through with a professional ... understand that my feelings are out of concern and not in anyway a form of gloating from a fan whose own team is one of only 6 to have reached the heights of EPL winners ...<hug>

His resentment is bizarre. Has there been another Spurs fan with a bigger complex about Leicester City in the history of association football?

How did your 'utter dominace' over the 'hapless Gooners' turn out HIAG ?

How did your 'utter dominace' over the 'hapless Gooners' turn out HIAG ?

We were characteristically inept, Pix.

Poch needs to sort that little wrinkle out.

For you Gunners, I suppose it's "Wenger in!" this week, yeah?

Oh, Bambs! I do so love your naivety!

Of course Spurs won't win the league! Silly, boy!

Not yet, we won't.

...how long would you give 'yet' Quents? ... should I start an appropriately titled thread for that d'ya think? ... would you say it might just become the longest lasting 'sticky' on the Prem board? <laugh>

Why did you go into hiding shortly after 12:was 30pm yesterday HIAG ?

No hiding, Pix.

It's called "having a life to live."

I was very busy. I had a number of accumulator bets on, and was engaged in a rugby-fest with a load of mates.

You want to pop out from that cupboard under your Mum's stairs, once in a while, mate!
