Go feed your whippet, polish your flat cap

Cutting and original. What's next, you gonna call me a sheepshagger and tell me to go make some Yorkshire puddings? Great stuff.

and calm down....manu are plastics and you are no Leeds Utd fan with rhetoric like that...

I have 1001 reasons to hate Man U (or the scum as we fondly refer to them here in Yorkshire), but being plastic is not one of them. They're a proper club with proper history, a proper stadium and proper matchgoing fans who abide by the English tradition. Just because they have glory-supporters doesn't make them plastic. Having a **** stadium, music after you score, fairweather, tinpot fans with clappy sticks and jester hats... that's plastic. Man U aren't that.

i was born in Spain and DO NOT SUPPORT MANCHESTER CITY...i just like to see proper clubs prosper...enjoying on here tonight..bit of life about at least!

Fair enough. Which clubs are "proper" then, in your opinion, and what qualifies them as that?

Berbnani..(moniker says it all!)Go and repeat your "o" levels...oh,hang on,they were abolished because they were too difficult....alright then, have a go at the no loser lesbian one parent family race...wouldn't want to dent your confidence!!..lol..

In English please?

Sorry Leeds..no intention to offend.

I'm 1/4 basque and support the fabulous Athletic Club who promote players, and recruit, players of Basque ascent only...equivalent to a cxity of 3M people having a team in the premier league with only natives....there are only three clubs who have never been relegated from the top division in history of La Liga...we are one and I'm sure you can guess the other two.

It's all about tradition, passion, history and as Roy Keane said...manu are sadly lacking in all...

Roy Keane said that...?!

Respect to A.C. by the way. They are indeed a proper club, but I do think that Man U also fit in that category. They have tradition. They have as much passion as any other English club. They certainly have history. I'd rather they didn't, but that's the way it is. On the other hand, whether their history and passion is respectable is another matter altogether. ;)

I can talk to you in English,Castellano or Euskara...which do you prefer?...I'm not expecting a reply since you have just made a right t*t of yourself.

Wise words Leeds.

I was playing golf in NI three weeks ago and saw Teddy Sherringham and Sreven Davis in a Pub in Portstewrt...we were on a stag but Harry Gregg,Munich hero, used to own a Hotel there and on of our company, from Northern Ireland, was the nepnew of Peter Doherty spoke to him.

Harry said that Bobby Charlton was a complete c**t and a traitor.

I wasn't pushing him as top why as he'd had a few...any thoughts anybody as to past history?

Thats all well and good but this is 2011. the world is a smaller place now and United are a team loved throughout the world. If a proper club only gets its players and support from the local area then theres about 4 proper clubs on earth and the rest of us are playing a rip off brand of inferior football, probably made in China or something....

or not...

Sure he did.
