I had one of those early bricks that is number 1 in your list. It was a work phone for the purpose of being on call so work could find me when I didn’t want to be found! I just turned the ****er off and said I didn’t have any signal.
It was a stupid ****ing invention that has plagued us all - he says typing on his smartphone

We still have all our old mobile phones. Mrs Stan keeps them. Just in case.

Yup got a drawer full of old phones and chargers for phones that have been lost - **** Knows why we keep them !

My first was like number 12. The make was a trium. Yep, I'd never heard of trium either until I was bought the phone. It served a purpose though until I managed to get a 3210, the God of all phones.

I buy my phones from China for me and my family

Not the cheap tat like doogee, well for the young un maybe.

If you know about Xiomi or zte or oneplus these phones are UK there if not better than the latest Samsung or iPhone at a fraction of the cost

Same with TVs. Hisense sponsored the euros and make decent teles that cost less than the same size LG etc

These phones and TVs sell millions abroad throughout the world but the UK is stucknon Samsung and iPhone etc

I'm rocking a Chinese Cubot right now. The battery's slowly increased to be about the same size as my head because it can't deal with the processor.
Its okay though I've ordered a new battery

Coming on in about 3 months

No 6 or 7 I think. Before that I had a pager (remember those) messages used to take a couple of days to come through <yikes>
