I don't think he'd give a ****, to be honest. I don't like him and his approach is all wrong, but he's used to being hated. Someone should've had a word in his ear a long time ago, but it's probably too late for that now.
Not Eriksen. Don't rile this thug to do any more damage on our player then his moron mind is already contemplating.
The ROI squad does read like a list of PL hard men who've been given Irish passports. Uncompromising and tough opponents - even for Vikings.
I didn't think my hatred of Johnny Giles (going back 45 years or so) could actually increase. But I was wrong! 'John Giles: Eriksen can shine but lacks one important quality needed to trouble Ireland for the full 90 minutes https://www.independent.ie/sport/so...ireland-for-the-full-90-minutes-36302764.html ' I hope that Eriksen dominates the game and scores a match-winning worldie and that in doing so causes Giles to choke on his own bile, the nasty little twat!! ...... harsh, I know, but so well deserved!!
The only member of that Dirty Leeds side that doesn't want make me want to bring back my lunch is Eddie Gray. What a beautiful footballer he was. The rest were Grade A ****s, especially Giles and Bremner.
It only takes a second to score a goal. Class players will have N such opportunities each game to take or make one.
......and to think Giles, with Blanchflower, nearly took over the Spurs management. Then the Spurs directors gave the job to Terry Neill.....that WAS funny!
I can think of a few good guys. Lorimar Clarke Jones Mckenzie (probably a later addition). Sprake was good for the comedy value.
Disagree with Clarke and Jones who were both nasty bits of work - and Pat Jennings would concur! Reaney wasn't the worst and as you say, it was difficult to take Speaker seriously.
Sam Allardyce on Mauricio Pochettino's view that Harry Kane's knee should be okay for the NLD............ “We’d have been much better off if he didn’t say it, wouldn’t we?" Really, Sam? Really? You're Sam Allardyce, mate, not King Solomon.
This is a non-story. Spurs are basically saying : 1. Said players are injured, but we think by not playing any England games they should recover for the next league game. 2. As England manager, are you seriously prepared to risk their long-term fitness and goodwill with the club this season over a couple of friendly games, when you could assess players who could have to play if our players are actually injured come the summer ??
It's not as if players don't miss one game due to an injury and are back a week later. Harry missed the United game but was back four days later. An injury doesn't have to be months out.
Sam Allardyce is and always has been a mouthy ****. And while we are on the subject what the **** did he look like in his 20-somethings shirt on MOTD. Would just love it if his name came up in the sex harassment stories!!
Please don't lead me into a rant about that shirt Allardyce was wearing. The man needs a bloody good tidy up and a few lessons in dress sense.
