That reminds me of Mystic Meg. When she lost her job at the National lottery The Sun had a headline 'Mystic Meg sacked and she didn't even see it coming"
Always liked Billic, seemed to come across as an honorable person, not a cliched quoting manager, more of a realist than most deluded managers. maybe he's relieved to have been put out of his misery...... BTW did anyone else think it was rather tasteless that MOTD had that money grabbing Allardyce giving his expert views about all and sundry last Saturday, they really have no shame........ Maybe it will do West Ham some good to go back to their true level in the Championship.......
Allardyce is on Talksport a fair bit too. I was more offended by his choice of shirt on Saturday than anything else. Would love West Ham to go down. Under Moyes or Redknapp they just might.
I think may be there weren't many queuing up to take the job at West Ham. Expectations of the fans are such that winning is not enough there, according to Allardyce, a manager is expected to win in style. That's a heavy burden in the Premier League now. Moyes is interim manager until the end of the season. We may see him and WHU in the Championship next season. We might get a chance to see Zaha and Rooney play as well
Paddy Power thought Ancelotti would look twice at any club without a semi reasonable chance of winning the Champions League?
Isn't that curbishley? Besides the verisimilitude of the candidates isn't the main part of the gag, Stan.
