Unsure, he hasn’t picked team/tactics. But maybe he should also be pumped. People blame Kenwright for Rooney, but Koeman was very vocal in his desire to have him.
He's bought players or not bought players? Walsh should have advocated as technical.director that no sacking til replacement no 1 is lined up or at least positive soundings.
Yes. he put all of our eggs in the Giroud basket after having a year to plan for the expected departure of Lukaku, that's not good enough. Rumours are he didn't get on with Koeman, but to see us start the season without a recognised PL striker is unforgivable imo. Koeman deserved the sack anyway, but the lack of a goalscorer was a big part of the reason the team failed. So Walsh should go as well imo.
Yeah it's tough. Klopps only saving grace is goals are flowing more or less. Salah has filled his boots, firmino less.so but still reasonable and coutinho has done well. Mane has been out too much but should get in there now as well. We've leaked terribly away from home in defence. You problem is at both ends as the defensive issue are almost worse than the lack of goals. Looking at Southampton... they only difference between you and them is at the back really... they are 10th with 13 points 5 more than you. That's all it is. Expectations are different it seems. It's tough.
I guess he has had input in signings, maybe even signed players (Gana Gueye) But never picked team/tactics
So papers say its sean dyche. if you were him would you; a) stay put knowing you are nearly already safe for the season? b) jump at Everton knowing it's a bigger job but needs a lot of fast work. c) go to West ham where the stadium is already there and lots of players to work with already. I honestly have to wonder about him moving as it could end in tears very easily for him. is he a Walsh, knewright or moshiri pick? as if he is not moshiri's man then if Walsh gets turned on will he go too? And will such work with Walsh or demand he goes? Who picks the players in other words
Apparently Bilic will be sacked today and replaced with Moyes, so no glorious return to EFC for Moyes.
so gold and sullivan are more organised than moshiri and knewright then. Bilic has been given every chance. not sure about money but every chance over 3 years.
You going to throw that much at him? If so the answer should be yes of course, but from your point of viewthe man has done a great job organising a really mean team but finding a striker.. not so much..
'Bilic has left his position' And here's that West Ham statement: "West Ham United can confirm that Slaven Bilic has today left his position with the club. "The chairmen and board of West Ham United would like to place on record their thanks and gratitude to Slaven and his team for their services over the past two-and-a-half years, but believe a change is now necessary in order for the club to move forward positively and in line with their ambition. "West Ham United can confirm that Bilic’s coaching assistants Nikola Jurcevic, Edin Terzic, Julian Dicks and Miljenko Rak have also left the Club with immediate effect. "The Club’s search for a new manager to take West Ham United forward is underway and an announcement regarding Bilic’s successor is expected to be made over the coming days."
fair play to unsworth. he sent mirallas and Morgan home last week for no effort. for a guy who's got shag all chance of the job he's not afraid to lay down the law anyway
David Moyes: West Ham taking a gamble on a manager looking at last chance http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41891582
Everton want former England boss Sam Allardyce to be their new manager for the rest of the season. The 63-year-old is set to sign a £100,000-a-week deal, with former Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare as his assistant. Well if true that is a desperate measure and shows the board think relegation is a distinct possibility, or perhaps Moshiri is just attracted to Big Sam's morals and think they will suit the way he wants to run the club.
It’s funny how the media constantly bang on about how foreigners block the pathway god young British managers, and yet People like Moyes and Allardyce constantly get these gigs.
welllllll... I think it's an indictment of West hams internal policies that they had no one but really... who would they have gone for though?
