Ah ffs, didn't back it cos you never said to put the kids dinner money / birthday money / mortgage on it :)

An interesting stat that you probably don't want to hear, but I see that Notts Forest have never lost a home game in any comp in its history against QPR.

Thats a shame. I always hope that you all back my winners but miss my losers!

True we have a shocking record there but on current form we have a big chance of trashing that stat! The massive cert in football for me is WOLVES at home to the Ruperts tonight! 8/11 rarely can rarely be called value but I think they are certs!

biggest cert for me is watford at goodson on sunday at 5/2 now having been nearer 4/1 a week ago , everton in crisis and watford playing as a unit hungry for success

Whilst his price (15/8) is very skinny for a horse coming off the back of a 609 day absence, and I certainly wouldn't advise anyone to back him today, it will nevertheless be very interesting to see how Sametegal gets on at Wetherby. Could be one that Nicholls might target at the "Sponsors Name" Plate at the festival.

Very nice comeback run from Sametegal, trying to give a race-fit Guitar Pete 17lbs and only giving best after the last where he was entitled to get a little tired. One to follow this winter and I reckon Nicholls will place him to good effect. Call me fanciful, but he could even make up into a Ryanair horse.

I've done it again. Spent ages thinking I had got a hopeful outsider only to find it's 5 to bloody 1.

Dundalk 18.00 Your Pal Tal. "257604" that's his last 6 finishing positions. 16 runs since last win. That was off a rating of 66. Has since risen to 81 by July last year and tomorrow runs off 57. He is a 5 times course winner and last week ran well over the course. "slowly into stride, in rear, pushed 1 1/2f out, 11th and short of room briefly 1f out, reminder close home and kept on without threatening, never nearer". The drop down to 5f is not really what I would have been looking for, given he was slowly into stride. At big odds I would have said worth an ew bet but at 5's I think it might be wiser to bet in running (ie about 5 seconds after the off, if he gets a good start). If he doesn't get a good start put the money on Peace Mission who was 2nd in the same race last week and is 5lb better off
Well that worked out ****ing well <doh>

Goal! Wolverhampton Wanderers 2, Fulham 0. Léo Bonatini (Wolverhampton Wanderers) header from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner. Assisted by Barry Douglas with a cross following a set piece situation.

Looking good
