    Decent read...

We don't have a Bent or Cisse....where's he gone now, think he's just joined another club..

    Cisse, could have worked yesterday...

And whose fault is it we dont have a Bent or a Cisse in the team? Mine? Yours? The woman in the Roker Pie Shop? Or the inept, halfwit we have for a manager that thinks selling our top striker and not replacing him was going to see us okay? Bruce and Quinn said back in January that no expense would be spared and the breaking of our transfer record wouldn't stand in the way of replacing the departing Bent.

We have 2 weeks left to change events but I dont see us actively pursuing a replacement at all. Bruce simply has to pull something out of the bag, or the next 4 months are going to be absolutely dreadful in terms of goals. We all knew that back in January, so how come the useless b&w twat in charge couldn't and cant?

Bruce has had his 10 penneth worth and its worth about just that. 10 pence. We have a decent squad that will never realise its potential (just like under Reid as well) and will break up in 12 months or so after another relegation scrap. Fluking 10th place as we did merely papered over some huge cracks at SAFC and although we have brought in some good acquisitions, Bruce's decision not to play them baffles and frustrates in equal measure. If he changes everything around now, AFTER he manufactured another sad derby attempt against his boyhood heroes, then the contempt I have for him this morning will double. Where was Gardener and Vaughan, players he mentioned as being the big characters we lacked in last years derbies? Was he scared that if they played we might actually win the game and upset his mam and dad, brothers and sisters and b&w mates he still drinks with up at the Diamond in Ponteland (he was there after the 5-1 humiliation having a beer with them and enjoying life).

Bruce simply had to start the season well and especially the derby game. He has failed miserably and had Liverpool's players had their shooting boots on, we would have been dead and buried and pointless after 2 games. As it stands, I cant see us beating Swansea or Brighton and we will certainly be beaten off Chelsea in 2 weeks time to leave us with 1 or 2 points, very few goals, no striker and no left side to the team for the next 4 months.

Pathetic doesnt cover the level despise I have for the c**t in charge of our team at this moment.

Not even gonna bother getting into a debate on Bruce, but was baffled by this bit.

Surely we don't interfere with his private life...got **** all to do with us.

He's kept faith with gyan I don't see the problem with that just he was poor yesterday and didn't have that energy he has for ghana (cisses ****e anyway)

It pisses me off that we aren't looking to sign anyone when he clearly need a left winger

When he is drinking, socialising and laughing with the fans of our local rivals the same day we were ****ed over 5-1 by them it should mate. Thats taking the piss to new heights that even Lee Skeletor Clark didnt manage to sink to. I was ****ing gutted that day never mind drinking with them and having a laugh.

Still. if youre comfortable with that fair play. It pisses the **** out of me though.

Been reading what you have wrote all day.

I'm hoping that he can keep his private life and professional life seperate.

I'm not bothered he's a mag, i just want him to do his job properly, which he failed to do yesterday, but i still won't slate him for his roots. His performances are different though, as they are open to scrutiny.

    Bloody hell!
Is he really not aloud to drink with mates who happen to support the Toon? Can I still safely socialize with my Black and White chums?
This is Football for God's sake. He's not hob-nobbing with the bloody Taliban.
    Jesus.

You're not the manager of the club though and as a fan can do as you please. As the manager of a sunderland team that has been so abject against his boyhood club, he should have a bit more savvy than to have a laugh and a drink with them immediately after we have been humiliated by them.

Is his judgement that ****e? Chalk another tick in the box for getting shot of the ****er if it is that crass.

I reckon Gyan was crocked last week, and of course he is the only 'experienced' striker we have.
Reckon they took a chance with him ...
