Nelson beat something by 3 lengths, Saxton Warrior beat the same thing by 3 lengths, Roaring Lion beat Nelson by a neck. All bullshit anyway, wonder if my dream will come true ( Roaring Lion winning ), Atzeni will make it 5 in a row, O'Brien will beat the record (Think his best is Seahenge still), or Bolger will ruin the party for all. Interesting race Also i'm a big big big fan of this new non runner penalty system, good to not see so many on a saturday, gets ****ing tiresome doing horses that then become non runners on the day, or countless times 16 runners then there's a non runner to make it not 1,2,3,4 swear bookies pay them. A lot better regulated now, some are genuine i know, but trainers seriously take the piss sometimes
Not betting, but really do think the Japanese-bred Saxon Warrior has an obviously excellent favourite's chance in the Racing Post Trophy Stakes (3:25 Doncaster). His Papa, Deep Impact, was a fine racehorse, and is now proving to be an outstanding sire.
Doncaster 1:45 Mutaaqeb 5/1 win (skybet money back if 2nd or 3rd) Newbury 2:15 Ayrad 18/1 Doncaster 4:00 Atletico 10/1 Cheltenham 3:10 Vaniteux 16/1 Cheltenham 3:45 Tempestatefloresco 8/1 E/W lucky 15 Leopardstown Flavius (10/11) + Ex Patriot (3/1) 6.64/1 Win Double
Cheltenham 3.10pm Double Ws 6/1 each way Lovely.....the jumps season is starting proper today for me.. As Wooly highlighted the selection looked very classy at the festival last season and i see likely improvement with a second season over fences. Previous run should put him right for this. Ground will suit..
What a fantastic race that was at Cheltenham - an aggressive front runner, bounding over his fences in front of the packed enclosures and I found myself saying "**** off Le Prezien" as it would have been so unfair if Foxtail Hill had been beaten. Lovely ride by STD. This is what we have been missing - brilliant, exhilarating stuff
That was shocking...almost too bad to be true...perhaps they want to keep the horses mark down for the festival. Strange!!
Blowing a gale on Town Moor - if it is in their faces coming up the straight it will take some getting
That was pretty much a nailed on version of the dream, might of even been that result in the dream did ring a bell, well done AOB
Didn't back it but thank fek he's now got that record. Maybe they will stop banging on about it now Great achievement of course, but it hardly matches up to discovering penicillin or inventing the potato!
Hahaha, light years away from the best! Lester, Steve Cauthen, Walter Swinburn....all way better than Moore!
Bravo Aidan, a tremendous achievement. Saxon Warrior gave a really gutsy performance over a distance that is patently his minimum one, surely?
