I didn't see it, but I take your point. However, this is what modern football is becoming - a game between two teams for the enjoyment of mass spectators. When actually it is nothing to do with that. Football is about winning matches and anything on top is a bonus. This is where we come back to how we'd like our own teams to play. I'd take a whole season of 1-0's if it meant Saints won the league, rather than entertainingly be relegated or finish midtable.Anti-football wins again.
And I can't help but also observe that we have absolutely nothing to do with either team, so why complain? It's a sport, not an entertainment. And surely the only ones who could remotely complain are ManU and Spuds supporters.
From an almost totally disinterested point of view, Man City have gone 1-0 up against WBA. And then Jay Rodriguez equalises. That was the interested bit.

I'm quite prepared for Huddersfield to draw at Anfield, and swap places with us in the table, so that we have a chance to leapfrog both them and Liverpool tomorrow.
