The only thing Ashley is teriffic at is making money and there can be no doubt he knows how to do that. I wasnt the one speculating he would pay tax by the way, just stating that he wouldnt be spending big bucks in the summer and asking when the company had its tax year.


BTW - the smell over here on Wearside is that of success. Whats the 'stench of failure' like after the Carroll deal on Doonside?

The goal for this season was always to stay in the Premiership. We will probably still manage this, so your stench of failure barb is like you............just hot air!!

The funny thing is that Newcastle fans are always most concerned with their club doing the best it can. You lot are always more concerned with doing better than us rather than anything else. It's a bit like having a little brother who occasionally wins a kick about in the garden. Slightly annoying but you know that it is only a matter of time before the normal order of things returns.

As for your big brother, younger brother scenario, don’t you know that statistically, it’s been proven that the younger brother is always the brightest, more advanced and most likely to succeed between two siblings.

Using your analogy, I couldn’t agree more with your thoughts craa and it’s refreshing to hear you too agree we are most likely to succeed as well.
