Can´t wait for the old Barclay roar To ring out like never before, When our lads run out To begin their bout Of Premier League games at our door I´m expecting to hear it right here Where I too´ll be adding my cheer, While watching the screen For a yellow and green Three points, then a celebratory And with or without a good start I´m damned sure they´ll all play their part, In lifting the roof That´s if ever proof Were needed we´re still full of heart The ground packed and rocking again Is a great sight for our merry men, And the yellow sea Just can´t fail to be Inspirational for all of them So `Come on you Yellows´ let´s play Be ´On the ball City´ today, ´In Lambert we trust´ And those lads who just Can´t wait to be part of the fray. RBF, although it's not possible, I swear you get better and better I think today, even though we're at home, is going to be more of a test than last week!
Agree with you dave, (about the match I mean ) I think today will give us more of an idea of whether we´ll cut it or not. Certainly more pressure on us at home, but even if not today, I fancy us to cope with it as the season gets on. I´ll say an iffy 1-0 City
Ive got a good feeling about today. No Delap I think, so those long throws will be missing. Your right the support is going to be imense. Lets win 3-0 and be top of the league by lunch time. Holt, Morrison and hotlips.
That would be nice Mr. Goss, not quite sure I´m that optimistic though, Stoke will be a hard nut to crack even though they´re away from home. If we don´t let ´em bully us, we´ll have a chance.
I really think the side will dictate where this result goes today. We must have the pace of naughton on show today cause martin struggled with the pace of moses last week and it will be the same today against ethrington. We need bennett in instead of crofts as he showed a much more potent threat last week where crofts didnt really offer much atall. If its naughton/bennett on the right i can see a win but if its martin/crofts i think we shall struggle and maybe pick up a draw.
