If Bruce were to leave it would be starting all over again.
A new manager would be saying things such as "Can't be done overnight..." "Don't expect too much too soon..." "It's a big job.."
Well, I feel we should look at the big picture. Yes Mags have won today........ again!
But we have been in Premier League for 5 seasons. Do we really want to be a yo yo team again, chopping and changing?
We don't have a boat load of money. In last 2 seasons Bruce has only spent what he raked in from transfers. This will continue whilst the country is in recession.
Today we heard from Everton that they can't spend as Banks are not lending money.
I feel Bruce is doing a good job with his wheeling and dealing.
    :)

.... and if our forwards had converted a couple of the many chances we had in the first half .... would you have even raised this?

I took a break from here towards the end of last season due to (in my view) negative, knee-jerk comments such as this. Given yesterdays result and overall performance it's understandable to a degree. For myself I never comment on a game until the next day - this let's me get the raw emotions out of my system and consider things with, I hope, my sensible head on?

For me, yesterday showed we need a Stiker who is a proven goal scorer, where we get him from or how much we pay is NOT my job - it's SB's - it's got to be the top priority. Team selection same as L'pool, is that a reward for a good performance or the manager not being able to select according to the opposition/man manage "disappointed" players who are dropped. Dunno, one to debate maybe. The substitutions didn't make sense to me or my mates either!!

I'm not saying Bruce out - neither am I saying SB best thing since sliced bread, any manager needs 2 1/2 or 3 full seasons. Chopping a manager after he has brought in his players and NOT letting him work with them is a recipe for disaster. I've got some questions, but will be happy to have them answered over THIS season.

Me, I'm really down (got work tomorrow with gloating mags to suffer) but I am, and always be one who KTF.
