Shows statistics lie.
I am so much happier and confident under Ollie than Kneecap. (and think the team is better than under Ramsey or David Hasselhoff...)...
I think we are actually getting somewhere, very slowly...but still progressing...

Unfortunately, as much as you may feel we are getting somewhere performance wise, we are steadily dropping down the table. We could really do with a couple of wins soon.

QPR managers points per game in the Championship over the last ten years ...

Redknapp 1.78

Warnock 1.77

Magilton 1.38

Ramsey 1.37

Sousa 1.33

JFH 1.26

Holloway 1.10
If Holloway keeps that up it will bring us 50.6 points, I.e. 51 if we are lucky, which would have seen us relegated last season.

That's what I was thinking. We've taken four points from our last six matches of which four of those teams were below us in the league. I can't recall if Fulham were below us when we played them so if they were that would make it five.

I think he deserves the next three months at least. We haven't been getting the rub of the green this season and he at least has us playing with some sort of identity. I didn't honestly expect more than this and that was before the defence got wiped out.
This. No point in getting rid of 'Hollow' just yet.

Well that is a depressing way to end the weekend! assume it was over the same time period?
Need wins and I can't see us beating Wolves on Saturday.

So what is the conclusion to this analysis?

Harry is cool and Ollie out?

Perhaps we need a measure (KPI) of team cost per point?

The conclusion is that if we don’t up the average points per game we will likely be relegated. The question is how long have we got to start doing better before it’s too late.

personally, (and you all know my feelings on his appointment) I would give him another month and if we have not improved then get rid and bring in a proper manager before the window closes. Funnily, Hollow caught me off guard at the beginning by not playing cr2p football and sometimes you need to mix things up and have a plan B. I cannot fault Hollow for his enthusiasm and love of the club but that is not enough when we are talking relegation and the future of the club. We all want stability and good foundations but if the foundations are weak the house will fall.

These are the next six games and the reason why you should be beating your Bolton's, Millwall's,Sunderland and Barnsley's

Queens Park Rangers v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Queens Park Rangers v Sheffield United

Nottingham Forest v Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers v Aston Villa

Derby County v Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers v Brentford

So from last night when in response to this post by WestWindsR.........

I think he deserves the next three months at least. We haven't been getting the rub of the green this season and he at least has us playing with some sort of identity. I didn't honestly expect more than this and that was before the defence got wiped out.

you replied...........

You're now only prepared to give him a month, talk about flip flopping.

We know you don't want him as manager as I've lost count of the number of times that you've stated that in posts but as others have said we're not actually a bad side, we just need a bit of luck to turn things around. I accept that 5 draws in 8 games isn't great but last season that would in all probability been 5 more defeats.........

We really don't have the financial clout to start all over again with a new manager, backroom staff, coaches etc we need to stick with what we have and get on with it............

TBH I thought from what I had read that Bolton was a must-win game for Hollow? My comments actually said 'Just Yet'. Six games are plenty to be able to change your fortunes. I also keep hearing how we are 'unlucky' however there have been plenty of times when we have actually been 'lucky'. As for the 'financial clout' you mention? The flip side to that is if Hollow takes us down, financially we will be a lot worse off. PS flip-flopping made me laugh so thank you for brightening my morning (seriously). :emoticon-0148-yes:

Not sure If I recall anyone saying that Bolton was a "must win" game but maybe some thought it was. Personally I don't believe there are "must win" games in October, maybe come May when you need a win to avoid relegation, then yes........

The thing is with this side that you know they're giving it their all which couldn't be said for some of the sides we've had in the last few years, they seem a close knit group of players who are here because they want to be and not just here for the money. I fancy we'll get 4 point from Wolves and Sheff Utd games simply because nobody expects us to get any points.......

Maybe I'm just too optimistic but I do like what the R's are about these days.......

Agree you won't hear me complain about the commitment. I have said on many occasions that we are fighting back now. I remember the days under Redknob where players were not interested. In that dept I cannot fault Ollie. The thing that concerns me is points and position.
