It was a poor attendance today, even though Crewe brought a sizeable following. We started well looking hungry and Seany Mac(who was by far the smallest on the pitch) scored a class header. Inevitably after the break Crewe came back with bared teeth which we didn't like, and we retreated into our sheels. We foolishly let them chew us over a few times but a brilliant solo goal (bit like Cesc Fabregas Arsenal vs Spurs @Emirates '09) from Wroe wrapped it up. In short, far from a perfect game but a vital 3 points. UTS

Always best to say what you mean and mean what you say. Hint. If you meant only league games it would have been accurate to say " congrats on your first league win of the season"

As has been said many times before when you resort to abuse, as you do frequently, it is the product of a bankrupt argument

Obviously at your level you do not know what abuse means. For your information:-

Notice it does not have to include expletives as your oh so charming word in the last of your sentences. If you like we can call it name calling which might make it easier for you to understand. Again it is the last resort of a bankrupt argument and says much more about the character of the name caller than the recipient.
 
Is that because you are from Bristol.? You don't seem to be doing as well as you thought you might be. Shrewsbury are a fine bunch. If you started treating them as football fans like yourselves you might actually discover that for yourself.

I think most of us understand that Ron, however, it was their fans who came to us initially with WUM's and we have responded accordingly. There is nothing malicious about it, until some people take it to heart.
 
chris gashead is correct, i do admit to starting the banter in mid summer and it did help to pass the time before the new season. i have had a laugh at your expense and i hope you have had a laugh at my expense. as for wins yes we have won 1 league game against crewe who will bounce back, and yes we have won in the cup. there are not many clubs who can claim to have gone 3 up away to racing certainty championship champions derby county and beaten them 3-2 away. derby county have won their opening 4 games and are joint top of their league. just another small win we take in our stride. bring on the swans tomorrow. floreat salopia, wonder if the gas can beat hereford at home, every one else has
 
I think you'll find the WUMing started with Brizzle fans spouting off how they were going to walk this league & thus, the banter begins.

WRONG AGAIN JEN <doh> I do hope you dont make a habit of being WRONG all the time, ya donut :)

AJ came onto our board the very first time explaining that such a massive club like ourselves shouldnt expect to walk the league, but we will expect it, as we are so massive, its the least we should expect :)

Matster - AJ and us gasheads are forum friends, so hand shaking is not needed <ok>
 
Why would AJ call you lot massive unless sarcastically replying to a comment?

You lot think you're massive anyway, but that's ok with me. I don't particularly give a damn. Just don't blame us when we delight in your failures this season (& there'll be many). :)
