Just looked at the Champ games this coming weekend and it looks like a decent shout for a sort out at the top.

Very strange - apart form the Blades, all the top half teams are playing each other - Us at Boro, Leeds at the Wurzels, Wolves play Preston, Fulham at Villa, Ipswich v Norwich and even 12th and 13th Derby and the Wendies play each other.

I'll stack them below if anyone wants to have a go at predicting that lot............ they all look like draws to me. <yikes>

Wolves v Preston......Draw
Wurzels v Leeds........Draw
Boro v City................Draw
Villa v Fulham...........Draw
Ipswich v Norwich.....Draw
Derby v Wendies.......Draw

Get that accumulator going then Sparks <laugh> A big pay out for that!

Sheepy - you shouldn't say bloody things like that to me pal - you got me thinking about it!....<laugh>

I've just looked and gone and done it. Money where my mouth is. 6 draws in a £1 Heinz.

Wolves v Preston......Draw @ 13/5
Wurzels v Leeds........Draw @ 11/4
Boro v City................Draw @ 5/2
Villa v Fulham...........Draw @ 5/2
Ipswich v Norwich.....Draw @ 13/5
Derby v Wendies.......Draw @ 5/2

That's 57 quid on - let's see what comes back. Only thing that worries me is I've now backed City not to win.....<laugh>

Well that's a tin of soup down the ****ter. <doh>

5 results and no draws - even we couldn't manage it.........<laugh>

The sixth draw forecast is the East Anglian derby tomorrow - bet they bloody draw!

If getting draws right was that easy I would have won the pools every other week. <doh>

Correct Dai - I used to have a go on the pools every bloody week for 30 years and won sod all.

I had a go at a Heinz on this occasion just to back up my OP - it was all Sheepy's fault for suggesting it........<laugh>

I only needed 3 draws out of the 6 to get me a profit - about £85 return for the treble and 3 doubles.

If 4 or 5 had come in it would have been a very, very good day, and if all 6 had drawn I was on for well over 9 grand. <yikes>

I was so tempted to follow you - glad I saw sense!

Sense has never been my strong point BT.........<laugh>

EDIT............but despite not backing City to win yesterday for the first time this season <doh> I did have a go at my usual theory about the good odds on our midfielders getting a goal.

When I saw Bamba had dropped back to make a back five just leaving Bryson and Ralls in there I had my usual £8 on each getting one - Bryson was 9/1 and Ralls 17/2.

At least I got my money back on that Heinz.....:1980_boogie_down:

Can't believe none of those 6 games will throw up a draw so I've just stuck £20 @13/5 on the draw for the Ipswich/Norwich game now playing.

Noted that if Norwich win, they'll go top 6 displacing the Wurzels - don't know what result to hope for really.......<laugh>

Hard to think that Cameron Jerome is still only 31.

He was with us a dozen years ago. <yikes>
