The natural light here in South Oxfordshire is sooooooo weird today. It's a bit like the light at the start of an eclipse. Plus, the sun is bright red poking eerily through the clouds.
Is it down to particles in the air I wonder, being blown around by the ex-hurricane?

Very strange.

It's due to the winds picking up a combination of dust from the sahara, southern europe and the Azores.

Yeah it's very eerie mate, even the dog's out in the garden and staring up at the sky. It's just gone really dark now here in Esher.

I remember that night well, I had a burglar alarm call-out due to the stormy winds and remember the sky being a strange purple colour and the rain actually feeling lukewarm. Today's sky certainly had that otherworldly look and was a reminder...
