About time! Sounds like they've been targeting Madders with kicks to the achilles.

Edit: It was Yanic who was fouled.
This is laughable. A good thing about us dropping back to the championship was hopefully to see less of the cheating and gamesmanship. Maddison is a diving twat. Throws himself to the ground at every opportunity. He's got a bit of history of doing it I think.

You lot should have been 2or 3 up inside twenty minutes. We weren't really in it. Our keeper was motm for us.

Anyway good luck for the season. Had a good night out round norwich last night, really enjoyed it. <ok>

Just not being in Hull for a few hours must have been nice ?<ok>

Wow! Maddison is a diving twat. I've never laughed so much. You're about as observant as Wenger
Not really interested in a back and forth.
One of our lads put this on our match thread after I'd commented on it.

CHEAT SHOT
Aberdeen defender Ash Taylor insists on loan Norwich ace James Maddison is not a cheat
The Dons kid was booked for diving for the FOURTH time in the win over Hamilton on Tuesday

Come on over to our match thread and say he isn't.

As I said good luck for the season .

I think I'll pass you obviously don't watch every Norwich game so have no Idea what treatment is dished out to him most weeks by the opposition .
The game wasn't ruined by a wrong penalty decision or free kick and it wasn't Maddison involved for the red card.

On reflection Hull were disappointed not to have hung on for the win and sloppy finishing meant Norwich scraped a point at the death.

The young wiry Englishman is extremely skillful and likes to operate at close contact finding a pass or taking it past his man ,as a result frustrated cynical players tend to kick him .

There have been many games like Sheffield United away where the ref didn't intervene early on and he got targeted the entire game even getting clattered by their keeper with no penalty and eventually getting booked later on for "play acting" when the replay shows he failed to get up because he was in fact injured and had to be replaced.

I can only assume the vitriol towards Maddison is to do with the fantastic goals he scored last month and he's gaining a reputation as hot property in this league ?

Weird that you start a debate on here, then claim you are not interested in a back and fourth after one reply ,and put the onus on us to go to the Hull board to respond to your accusations towards our player.

Also bizarre that you dredged up a story from his loan spell at Aberdeen as proof of your claims.

I'd read my post again. Good luck for the season, had a good night out in Norwich. Ye I'm really having a go. I just answered one point on one of your posters.
You were far the better side even when 11v11.

We'll see come the end of the season how Maddison is judged.

Good luck

So this wasn't having a go ?

Just putting you straight.

The Hull fans have a history of abuse towards us DD back in the day their mod accused Holty of diving and said he hoped his children would die

Maddison is no diver. He may go down easily on occasion, but who doesn't. Truth is, Madders earned a rep in Scotland for being a danger man and opponents targeted him for rough treatment. That is now carrying over in the Championship.

Slutsky seems like a class manager. All the best to Hull.

I think Maddison does go down to easily some of the time, I guess Naismith's been tutoring him! <laugh><laugh><laugh>

This is true, once again we were scared to shoot on sight, and the possession football is now becoming a joke. I think I counted at least 6 times we had the ball just outside Hull's penalty area. and it ended up with our goalkeeper!!! WTF is the point of that??? All Gunn did then was lump it upfield and possession was lost or we were scrambling for it! WE'RE PLAYING FOOTBALL BACKWARDS!!

Anyway good luck for the season. Had a good night out round norwich last night, really enjoyed it. <ok>

I see Martin Penney on MFW agrees with me in that we are having a rerun of the 'Lambert Years' - "The Lambert days are apparently back in a slightly different guise. Shades of Simeon Jackson and Derby. Because – this collection of players do not and will not give up. Fantastic. I guess you could call it a route one equaliser if you wished."
I said as much in a comment only yesterday.
