Just my opinion here but lukaku will never be anywhere near Matip in general play
Lucky seems to like the right side channel for his team which put this as lovren v lukaku.
Having seen lovren issues with injury i can see lukaku running past the guy easy
..... If lucky actually bothers.

Plus, if Lukaku didn't get himself against Lovren target than Matip then he's a fool!
Actually its the reverse. Matip is a good tackler but hates jumping for the ball.. loves to duck. Lukaku has even been pocketed by Klavan. The difference is at everton he never got the support as they played very defensively against us. He may turn out a different animal all together if United are aggressive.
That hardly counts though as evertonnleft him all alone and just defended
Thing with Lovren is when he actually concentrated and positions himself well, he’s very good in the air.
