Funny as **** reading back through this.

HIAG giving it the big un for 5 pages about his property deals, Stan tearing him to shreds on his obvious bullshit and then HIAG claiming he doesn't have to tell him anything, depsite just spending the previous 5 pages trying to concoct a bullshit story.

 

Was that the one which brought on the "Why are you doing this Stan?"

 

I think that was a previous one mate. HIAG was giving it large as per and told Stan that he was involved in some mega property development deal. It was so big that it would have included S106 agreements (which are basically conditions that the developer has to meet to fulfil local council requirements I.e. paying for road alterations, roundabouts, putting a new bus stop etc to meet planning requirements)

HIAG clearly new **** all about s106 and first tried to tell Stan that they didn’t exist, when it was pointed out that they very much do, he then tried to say that they’d been scrapped, then tried to say that they didn’t apply to his development. As you can imagine the daft **** tied himself up in knots and ended up pleading with Stan to stop with the now infamous ‘why are you doing this to me Stan?’ line

 

I remember that one with fondness, having had first hand experiences of those and I don’t think I laughed so much on a footy forum, it was a real page turner.

Poor Bell has been exposed as a serial bullshitter so often that his get out of jail free card ( it was all a plan) makes it all the funnier.

It’s all very hilariously funny but he clearly enjoys the attention of being a prize helmet. Seems everybody’s happy with that deal so for my money he can carry on with more.

My recollection is that I gave Stan a schooling in planning law, and outed him as being nothing more than a glorified estate agent. It put him back in his box for quite a while.
