Currently watching Goons/Loserpool match. It is dire, are the bookies serious when they reckon they will finish above us!
Wenger says they're the best and won't miss Fabregas (who he said wouldn't be leaving...), which must count for something. Mainly an increase in his medication...
2 offside goals and a stupid challenge from Frimpong. Nothing for Liverpool fans to get excited about and Arsenal fans will surely be deflated after seeing Frimpong's inexperience show and Ramsey fail to get a grip of the game like Fabregas could.
Is Wenger leading the all-time red card table for managers? 56 now, apparently. This may force his hand, though. If they were to go on to lose to Udinese as well, then the fans would go mental. Well, as mental as they ever go, anyway. There might be some very forceful tutting.
I don't feel sorry for them. The useless bastards couldn't even take a point off the team that we're supposed to be competing with for a top 4 place...
Is it me or do Lpool get a lot of luck? I know we don't have much sympathy considering who they got it against, and its probably just me only noticing when they get it, but its just how it seems to me. The worse thing about this is that it will get all those pro-Lpool pundits frothing at the mouth again.
The sending off looked fair, as it could have been a straight red and the second goal was fine, but the first goal should've been chalked off for offside. Their biggest slice of luck is probably playing Arsenal at this point during the season. They're in disarray and whoever picked the fixture list wasn't kind to them. Liverpool and Man Utd either side of Champions League qualifying games? Harsh. Their game on Wednesday is massive now.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger on his side's 2-0 defeat by Liverpool: "It looks like both goals were offside. The referees are (supposed to be) professional." You just gotta love the old fart.
When the ball was played wide Suarez was in a marginally offside position SF, but the ball wasn't played to him.
Suarez was off when ball played through to Meireles yes, but def on when it came to him - so no dice Arsene
From what I saw, which admittedly, was not the entire game; it could have gone either way. As the previous poster said, Liverpool got lucky.
That's because Arsenal and Liverpool will finish above Spurs. It was a good game but lacked quality in the final third, a blow for Arsenal but they'll recover for sure. It'll be an interesting battle between Liverpool and Arsenal for 4th but for now Liverpool have the edge, that is without doubt.
Wish that could be true. They controlled the game to be honest. But controlled in a tedious way and held on until we done something stupid. And suprise, it arrived in the shape of a kid.
