... And if we were to smash them, (as someone on here is want to say,) people will be talking about how we could be title challengers.

Football fans are fickle and you're only as good as the last game.

I so want to beat them. Have been listening to Talksport while driving all week and they're continually gushing about Mourinho and Utd; makes me want to puke. I can't even watch the game as the gf has arranged for us to view the house we're buying at kick off. Bitch.

I understand fickle, it's the fearful I don't get. Why anyone calls a game lost before it's even begun when we all know that football can go in any number of directions.

Obviously you need to dump her.

It's 8 days away. Rearrange. There's absolutely nothing to stop you changing time in that period of notice

She doesn't understand the importance of football? I agree with mito - get rid or this will be your life from now on. watching Bridget Jones, shopping, fixing stuff, taking the dog for a dump when there's a game on. Nightmare.

I've told her that it's f#cking ridiculous and that she needs to change it. Last night I gave her 3 alternative dates and told her to f#ck of while I watched the England game. Definitely was not worth losing a BJ. Just saying.

Yeah... England are never worth losing a bj... I would say even 1966... probably.. if they'd heard of them.

Saint or someone might be able to tell us if their grandkids who warched the final would agree.

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini had to be substituted after only 23 minutes of Belgium's thrilling victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina
Fellaini, who has started United's past three Premier League games, appeared to suffer a knee injury.

Belgium manager Roberto Martinez said that he feared the 29-year-old had suffered ligament damage.

No Mane, Lallana or Clyne.
No Fellani, Pogba, Rojo or Zlatan for them.

Will be a test of the relative squads!!

EDIT: Couts and Firmino coming back late doesn't help either.

I'd love to beat em but my gut telling me we cannot afford lose this. Title would be a very long shot (if it wasn't already) this early in the season :-(

Reactions: Bumps
At least he won't be going off for the 2 games against South Africa in Early November so we can control his Recovery.

He will miss the Utd game and Spurs away which will be a big blow. Some of the other games we may cope better without him. The League was always a very big ask, it's all about the top4 again.
As much as I despise becoming like Arsenal, with our ****ty defence, that was always the likely target. Hopefully he will be back for the home game against Chelsea on the 25th November.

As for the CL, thank **** it's Maribor in the next 2 games. Sevilla away on the 21st of November may be too soon but he should be back for Spartak at home and If we can't come second in that group we shouldn't be in the CL!

Have I mentioned anywhere that I ****ing hate international breaks?
Nobody does like it especially where our players have to play two games during the break. Regarding South American players it's even worse, when some players are coming back they are still playing.
