It's the only position where his distribution won't be an issue...

PL withdrawal symptoms kicking in now.
Went away last weekend and had a great time watching the live games.
The international football two week break is tedious by comparison, although it has a little more appeal as these games are decisive so far as qualification is concerned.
    But roll on 14th October.

Makes me wonder what the fa are doing ,apparently they have offered Southgate a £250,000 bonus if he gets England to qualify for the world cup.what a joke ,with the teams in our group we should do that easy my grandaughters could manage that ffs.also another bonus for getting us out of the group in Russia. Why not cut the crap and offer him a bonus if he actually gets us to win the bloody thing.<doh>

To be honest, with that group he should be docked pay if England don't qualify. The FA are a complete joke and just one of many reasons why football is in the comparative dark ages compared to other sports.

I gave up on England years ago no pride no fight no heart and dismal displays on the pitch ,I've seen better games in my local park on a Sunday morning. I really only look forward to seeing no injuries to our spurs players rather than an England win to be honest .

  11. There's some great comparisons in the stats.
The level of PL experience is hardly a denominator for success with England. There are some names listed there who could have played for 20 years and still be **** for the national side <laugh>

Conveniently forgetting that neither of the injury time goals should have stood?

A sub role might be perfect for him too, at least at first.
Pacy, direct, skillful and with an eye for goal. Just what you don't want to play against when you've been on the pitch for over an hour.
Had an injury setback last season, but it would be great to see him get another chance in the first team.

GKN wouldn't want to see him, as that's pretty much his only claim to getting minutes.

    True. Opposite wings, though.
Might be an idea to give them both some games in our underperforming U23 side.
