I just want a game where the fab four (cringe name ) are all on form. Very few teams can deal with those 4 players when they click. Problem is our profligacy is killing us. Irrespective of the fact that our opponents have scored a goal or two against us we have been very guilty of missing high quality chances in almost every game.

Let's hope this is the game when our attack comes through and we can celebrate a win.
I wonder where this Fab Four term came from? Anyone knows?

Yes, we are putting our 4 best attacking players together but when did they justify being labelled as that?

We've had good results when they've had room to play. When they play against modest but the obturate opposition they seem to struggle.

On one hand we want the mancs to be more open for our attack but then not sure whether against our defence that could backfire.

The question could well be is our "fab 4" against their defence better than their attack against our "not so fab" back 4?

Lazy journos.

Its a clear beatles reference. I don't know where it started but it can only have started post transfer window as the assumption was yoko (barca) had posiioned john (coutinho) against the rest.

They have obviously never justified it. Mane was injured so coutinho and salah played preseason and looked ok then coutinho faked the back injury so at not time have the justified any tag line.

They're not really playing the way I expected. I was hoping to see Coutinho in a deeper central role pulling the strings and feeding balls through to the others but he's still playing more or less the same game as last year.
I think we're too crowded up front - everyone wants to be there.
Hopefully this has all just coincided with a dip in form for Firmino, Can and to an extent Mané rather than it being the cause of it.
Things change all the time - no need for panic.
Yet.

yes i agree, coutinho thus far has not stood on centre circle passing it. Or at least the other two have not enabled him to do it. He is playing the same game as he did as lw.

I agree baout the crowding up top. CMS being ahead of the ball drive me mad. They can make a late run but in general be goal side, the full backs wide and let the three forwards make runs. Often a can, wijnaldum etc are just i nthe way making runs hard to make.

Bar finishing, the fab 4 have created a lot of chances and played well.

I’m not worrying yet - its a poor run of form but I think we will come out of it.

I’d be more concerned if we weren’t creating at all.

You are right. Rogers last season we were seriously short of goals and conceding. It's not that.

We are out of league cup and the best we can have after 8 games is 14 points. It's one good run of wins sway from being ok.

It's also another 3/4 league games from full blown crisis (not Everton crisis but a top half crisis)

We just need a response from all players.

I suspect they may have a better midfield than us... :bandit:

Might as well give them the points now, according to Sky Sports we lost.

"Following the international break, Liverpool host Manchester United at Anfield - live on Sky Sports Premier League - with defeat adding further pressure to Klopp's side."
