The obvious solution is for there to be more citizens with guns <ok>

Seriously though, my heart goes out to the families but I don't get shocked when something like this happens over there, bunch of ****ing lunatics.

Rip those who lost their lives <rose>

That’s the sad thing really, that nobody is surprised when stuff like this happens in the US because the prevalence of guns is so rife.

You can literally walk into a gun shop and buy weapons in the states. Bit more difficult to get hold of automatic weapons, but clearly not that difficult if you’ve got the intent.

The Trump administration won’t address the obvious issue here though. They’ll make a big show of how well the emergency services did and how all Americans should rally round the flag etc. But gun control won’t even be discussed in any sensible way.

Not least because the gun lobby chucked $30m at his election campaign.....it won't even get a mention.

Was just about to say that myself...

It will never change anyway, way too engrained in their culture and the nra have so much sway.

I certainly don't see major changes in my lifetime anyway.

How did one man cause so much chaos...400 plus injured. I guess that was from the mayhem caused by the panic?

I hear ISIS have claimed it

I don't know mate, he fired hundreds of rounds, so probably a mixture of gunshot and crush injuries.

ISIS claim anything and everything, time will tell.

It was a crowd of 20,000, one witness they interviewed said the shooting went on for 4-5 minutes with 10 seconds between reloads.

Just sounds insane.
