Not anti spurs. Just probably breaking the myth that you have the best 11, the best run team and the best manager but end up potless winners of the 2 year calendar season even though for one of the seasonsall the big guns failed and the other, all the big guns should have been transitioning with new managers
You could expect and fully understand that talk if it was to come from a Chelsea supporter as they have won the title two times in three years but from a potless bunch of inbreds....Really?
Show me where I've said that!!? To me we're still a work in progress. But we certainly have the potential to be one of the best. But in a world where bang average players, like Sigurdsson, go for £50 mill, it's easy to see that a 21 yr old who's rated as one of the top young talents in Europe will go for more than double that. IF we sell him!...
not necessarily yourself but it is something that is thought by a fair few people. In the media and if you ask most spurs fans (not all and to be fair you'll get the same response by a fair few fans of their own players) they will probably think that theres no striker better than Kane, no betters AMs than alli and eriksen (in the PL), no better holding midfielders than Wanyama and Dembele, etc etc
For me, Kane is certainly one of the very best - anywhere. Although I still think the PL's top striker at the moment, when he's fit, is Aguero. Alli is a great talent. But he needs to be more consistent, he can be pretty anonymous sometimes. Eriksen again is one of the very best playmakers - and probably the most intelligent. Although for me, De Bruyne would be my choice. Both Dembele and Wanayama are top players. Both injured atm, and we miss them.
I think it's pretty obvious that Kane is no flash in the pan, if Spurs sell him, considering his age and the premium that Levy gets whenever someone rich desperately wants one of his best players, he'll go for well over £100m. Alli, on the other hand, has started to believe his hype a bit too much lately. If Spurs get an Alli/Kane inspired result from their games against RM the offers will come in and we'll see how much is offered for them, and neither player will go for less than £100m
I think you'd have to put up the name of the person who you think will score more, rather than Kane v the field. Morata or Lukaku for instance.
Not that i think this argument as correct as i consider the best having to do it over a number of seasons (of which Kane has done, also for me its not just about the goals) but the argument is Kane is the best. Surely in this debate it is him vs the field to determine whether he is the best rather than having to pick any other player
I want the bet with Bell put being the cowardly bottler he is he'll run scared off to his cave. I have the perfect avatar for him.
I agre, in part, but the other side of it is, if he isn't the best, who do you think is? So name your man. Personally I think he's a lot better than Lukaku, but I think Man Utd as a squad are better than Spurs, so I'd expect Lukaku to get more goal-scoring chances. Morata I haven't seen enough of yet to make a decision.
Aguero is comfortably the best striker in the league. Lukaku and Kane are bit behind, Morata has the potential to be.
probably, he's a bit handicapped by his injuries and Pep utilising 2 strikers to go for golden boot, imo.
6 goals and 3 assists in 467 minutes. Goal or assist every 51 minutes. If he keeps it up he'll get 61 goals or assists this season
