I'm not feeling all of this negativity tbh

We are - until the Steel City Derby tomorrow - only 3 pts off the playoffs on a team assembled on a fiver, with all the defence out injured.

Burton are no mugs, we are still to beat them remember.

All things said, I'm happy with our placing performances and potential

1st half dire.
Better after subs.
Unbeaten home record stands - important - but NOT stylish or pleasant to watch.
Just another game to forget and move on.
There's also something a out playing teams that, man for man, are not as good. For likely a combination of reasons it lowers the game of the better team.
Take the point and move on.

Yes, our makeshift defence was solid, we just need to start scoring goals again, although it would appear we had a few near misses, goal mouth scrambles etc.
Some good shots on target including a thunderbolt from Baptiste that was going in until it hit a defender who knew nothing about it for the corner. Pity cos generally he played well including an impkrtant block in last 5 mins.

Haven't been able to keep tabs on the game, so a disappointing result. That said a defensive line that is without doubt our weakest has done a fair job to keep a clean sheet. Reading the comments it seems our attacking has been very poor and really should have been able to have found at least one goal.
A win today would have done us good with all the draws through the league.
Only word that springs to mind is mediocre.
As is our position.
Move on to the next game.

Went with mates to a different game. How was it?

It looked on paper like one that needed Smith or Sylla so was surprised to see the way we lined up. Yeni FFS.

How did Not So Bright get on?

Sadly these are the type of games we need to be winning, Burton and Millwall will be in the mix at the bottom so we don't need to be giving them points. Our squad players clearly are our weakest link, let's hope we get over this run of injuries before it drags us down...

Disappointingly poor performance today, the only positive being a clean sheet

Too often we laboured in possession, unable to find space. Our best attack of the first half came from some strong running by Pawel and good movement from Mackie. But all too often we resorted to long high punts against a very tall pair of centre backs - pointless and frustrating

We looked more positive second half but Smith was outgunned in the air just about every time

Frustrating not to beat the Brewers for the first time!

He looked pretty decent. Some nice touches and not afraid to take on players

Sylla was OK today but Smith has poor - out jumped, spent too long on the ground, and gave away needless fouls

The nillest of nil-nil draws. I'm not sure what the formation was supposed to be, and I'm not sure the players could tell you either. Ngbakoto in particular seemed to have no clue what he was supposed to be doing in central midfield, and then got hooked at half-time. Similar to the treatment Petrasso got when he was played out of position last season. Washington had no hope whatsoever with highs balls pumped at him against two giants at CB, but then Smith didn't win anything either with similar service. We seemed to wind up playing 2-4-4 in the second half, but never really created anything. Scowen did well again, but I would probably make Robinson MOM. Best of a very average bunch today.

What summed it up for me was a couple of ravens fans sat behind me, (apparently the American footy team got offered a deal, £10 tickets if they come in ravens gear?) anyway two guys first ever "soccer" match, one said to the other why do qpr keep kicking the ball so high when their 5and 6 are so tall, even they got it

But our 5th choice back 4 wasn't our weak link today. It was our inability to create and take chances, and the only regular missing there was Luongo. Think he would have helped 1st half, not so sure 2nd when we needed keys to unlock their bus.

Ref was absolutely dire. 2 nailed on back passes, more bounce ups than I have seen at LR in years and he constantly stopped play for non head injuries, on one occassion when we had the ball on the edge of their penalty area. He did not have a clue.

Robinson got in some great tackles but he looks indecisive under pressure, and with the ball in our own box, to me. He made a terrible clearance early on which nearly gave them an early goal, and perhaps that made me worry about him over much. Baptiste was my MOM today.

Didn't follow the game and whilst you could argue we should be winning these games; anyone who knows our recent history will know we invariably don't. So I'd say a point on the board is ok.

Robinson is new to the job that Baptiste is supposed to be proficient at. He's going to have his dodgy moments whilst learning the role, but overall he was excellent today, I thought. Baptiste did ok too, but Robinson is a far better footballer imo.

I see Robinson as a probably better alternative to Bidwell if he stays fit, and when a couple of the regular CB's are back fit and in form.
