Over 50% full though, about right for an early round cup game sadly... what percentage was Wembley full tonight?
100%. There was lots of air there. Filled it up completely. Lots of players lacking match fitness and confidence, struggling to break down a determined defence for bloody ages. Very little in the way of shots and the atmosphere was rubbish, due to the stadium itself and the fact that it was more than half empty. Got the win and got some much needed game time for some fringe players, but it wasn't very enjoyable.
I know the one, I always try to attend the early cup games as their a cheap option but they often end up as described above. Funnily enough the Wolves game mentioned I was offered a free ticket for but fell asleep after work waking up to the score at half 9... didn't regret it
Lets think UTD have the most supporters, so more people will watch it so they get more money via advertisers
Got back late last night so didn't have time to give some grief out to the Liverpool fans on here. Coutinho was sensational to be honest. Absolutely worth the money for me but aside from that Pool were weak. Solanke, Gruijc (sp?) Gomez, Flanagan, Oxlade Chamberlain (****ing pathetic) and Wijnaldum were poor. Thought Henderson played very well in the first half but then was nowhere to be seen in the second. Okazaki on and Coutinho off meant there was only one winner. For all of Liverpool's good play and dangerous crosses, can't remember Hamer really making a difficult save. Gray and Chilwell were superb for us. They've got a great understanding of each other's game. Pleased Slimani got his goal. He works his arse off but he's a technically awful footballer.
Spurs draw West Ham at home in the cup. 9000 tickets for West Ham on a night game is going to go well Kind of glad this is happened, could have had preperation for this if they didn't limit league allocations to 3000.
If it was up to Sky they'd have every United game on. It's been years since one of their FA Cup games wasn't televised- last season they had the least exciting tie possible at home to Reading and it still got chosen so safe to say they always will. Just be glad it's not being played in Shanghai- yet.
Given the way your bunch do transfer business, expect to see Sergei The Meerkat rather than Thomas The Lemur
