Start Cahill & Cescy, throw away points. We are shoe in for 3 pts per Merse et al. But we have lost 2 Nicky mouse cups to goons.

Yeah, i know it was mickey mouse both times but its worrying how we've lost the last 2 times to them. We seemed to sit off them/not press as effectively since they've moved to a back 3. I'm hoping thats because we were playing fairly deep due to having cahill in the team.

Here's hoping we smash them which is what i'm expecting as it is generally classic wenger in an away match. Plus we have had far more rest so there really isn't any excuses

Agreed. We should smash them with little bit of common sense like last season. Like Drinkwater is out injured and common sense not too common.

Merse is an idiot anyway. If he's going to pick 10 of the 11 starting chelsea players, you only need to see what Conte has picked, not contradicted Conte half the time and pick players in the positions that they don't even play in.

Dave at RB is pants, Fab in the midfield 2 is stupid, Cahill at CB jesus wept.

Agreed with the analysis here - need to take the initiative against the Gooners showed them way too much respect in the cup games; the quip about Cahill is in poor taste............is someone having a laugh?

oops, it was in response to stanDmans merson thread but i posted in wrong thread. Cahill as one of the best CBs in the Arsenal and Chelseas best 11, no chance

Sorry misunderstanding there - my remarks about Cahill was tongue in cheek, it was no accident that our change in fortunes coincided with his suspension; we should collect all 3 tomorrow but if we start with Cahoots (sorry that should read Cahill) it might open the door for the Gooners.

Cahill stand alone is fine. Adding him with Alonso & Cescy - that will be deadly for us.

We cannot carry more than 2 passengers in our team. Even Kante cannot save us.

Drop Cescy or Cahill. Simples. And don't play Cescy in advance role & sit Willian FFS.

I am not biased for my fantasy team, but that is stupidity.

if we have to accommodate skipper, drop Cescy. Or sit the skipper for Pete's sake!!

Whilst I'd have played Cesc I'm surprised and quite disappointed that Bakayoko isn't starting. Really looked the part so far.

I wouldn't have played Cescy & Cahill in there with Alonso.

Will be lucky to get a point now unless Conte changes sooner.
No Sanchez is a blessing. But wth is Conte doing?

Kante & Cescy swapped sides. only change?
hope it helps Cahill & Alonso

Bellerin vs Alonso no contest. We are losing everything on our left.
It is just a matter of when and not if. Welbeck should score there FFS.

Alonso beaten twice within 30 seconds. Cahill no where near. Everything wrong with that combo there in 30 seconds.

Pull the fcuk out.

Only Pedro can miss those <doh>. make it worse those one of the rare contribution from Cescy which Pedro screws up

I think Chelsea biggest problem in the first 20mins is that they are allowing Arsenal some control in midfield, I think this all stems from starting with Fabregas. No doubt he's a great player when you have the ball, but I always felt it was a risk playing him from the start against one of the so called big teams. I can't see Conte doing that against us or City.
