Agreed. Also these morons http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJQwVuBfcVc

Some supporters, from North to South, fail to recognise that this is about a players career - not their allegiance. When all is said and done and Andy Carroll hangs up his boots he'll go back to watching Newcastle, in fact I'll bet Newcastle will continue to the be the first team who's score he looks for after his games for Liverpool or whoever he may play for in the future.
Supporting football and playing football are two very different things when it comes to 'loyalty'. He may be plying his trade for another club but surely even the skunks have to know that he's still a Newcastle fan - born and raised.
Look at it this way: if Carroll doesn't think he's worth £35m (i'll bet his mother would have snapped Dalgleish's hand off too) he'd be dong Newcastle a disservice by NOT asking to be sold at that price. £35m helps refill the coffers and part finance the strengthening of the squad - look what Brucie's doing with money from the shifted dead wood/DBwho?
The only question is what will Agent Ashley do with the cash?
