Fast becoming a big big part of the problem, while the team were being booed as they played there was plenty of other **** going on. Folk talking of our fans fighting with each other, Somebody throwing a bottle hitting Clayton Donaldson and people at the front getting hit with coins hurled from the back of the south stand. Away from that we've got fanzines advocating booing the team on social media. Some of our fan base have ****ing lost the plot, primitive knuckle draggers, so sad for the decent fans.
I can't really comment much from down here in Manchester as I don't get a chance to get to the games but I get embarrassed reading comments from fans calling for managers heads and I can't fathom why the team gets booed during the match unless they are getting completely battered. Try to be the 12th man and all that. A lot of what I do read however on here or from my friends in the North East they do seem to realise where the problems lie at (Short)
With mine fella. Kicked off in the south stand after their second goal when the lad who scored went down by the post with what seemed to be a hamstring injury. Stewards had to get involved separating some frustrated fans. They were boo'd off at half time and full time and during the second half were booing Rodwell when he got the ball - he was rubbish along with many others so harsh to pick him out. It's gonna be along time before we are challenging for top 6 on these home outings.
I'm just going on what people are discussing on RTG too. Loads of people confirming it. ****ing coins man, utterly ashamed and I've done nowt.
Absolutely this - I cringed when they booed Rodwell during the match. I will never boo a player or the team but if some supporters want to vent the angst, by booing, then surely its best done at the end of the game.
Don't know what the crowd were thinking singing you're not fit to wear the shirt and booing at every opportunity. Wtf do they think, that Short's going to crap himself and spend 100 mil in the transfer window? I wasn't cheering them on much because the football was terrible but they are the players we have like it or not and booing them only has a negative effect on performances and therefore points.
Man after my own heart. Do these people really think booing players during the game is going to make them suddenly play better? I know it's hard at the minute, on the back of a rubbish relegation, but back them till the end then vent if you want to ( I prefer to give them the silent treatment) so they've got something to think about.
Got to say for 50 years wherever i have been i have proudly stuck my chest out and said we might have a ****e team but our fans are the best turning up in droves through thick and thin. Not nymore. We are not even the best in the north east
I'm reticent to lay into your fans much as coming from a mag it's unlikely to be well received but I just find it all odd. There's reason for frustration but I'm really not sure what people were expecting from the team - Grayson needs time and booing and leaving early is only going to make matters worse. If you don't want to support the team then don't turn up. Sunderland were unfairly highlighted last year as fans who left early a number of times by the media and they pounced on the chance again today - it's as if no other fans do this... The throwing and fighting is inexcusable from any fans and you have to hope that anyone doing that gets caught and banned. They aren't football fans of any team, they're just arseholes. People take their kids to games - I can handle my team losing but if fans around me are causing violence I'd leave and never come back.
Like I've said before absolutely No player owner or manager is bigger than our club However we are not having a good time at the moment. If we don't get behind the team we will fade badly. I'm not saying that we should be happy clappers. But shouting abuse at our players will not help I left 89 mins
I cant get to matches, but i can feel the hurt they are going through, we have been fed a diet of tripe for years now, so whilst we should get behind the team, the ****e we are being dished up currently is enough to make anyones blood boil
This. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Hopefully the lads what are pissed off don't bother no more. I don't bother with it no more so let who ever wants to go get on with it. Enjoy
trouble is if you paid to see a concert and they dished up the same crap as our long suffering fans have to put up with you would want something done, like a refund, poor fekkers i really feel for them
Aye but if you'd paid to see a band you knew were **** you can't be upset about them being **** when they start playing. And booing in their faces isn't going to make them into superstars.
