I agree..... yet despite that, we made City look average at times. Funny league this.

We ripped them to shreds early on, but unfortunately it was Salah and not Mane running in on Otamendi. He reminds me of a young Sterling the way he beats his man for fun but has a terrible end ball. And yes, be honst, TAA will never be a full back - people knock Clynne, but positionally he's never caught like that. And Windy - weak.

I can't believe you think you've been hard done by. Mane's foot was extremely high and he may have seriously injured the keeper. He had to go.
It's utterly insane.
Actually it isn't.
Mane could have loaded a double barrel shotgun and blew of the keepers leg at the knees and they'd be blaming the keeper.
It's a Liverpool and Spurs fan trait to call for constant yellows and reds for the opposition for the most minor of infractions, yet cry like **** and scream conspiracy when your player is sent off for decapitating their goal keeper.

So 7 points off first block
Who is in next block of 4
Need to keep goal difference down in this one
Onwards to CL :(

It's such a shame because we would have had them. Now it's ruined.

I hope Klopp is laying into the midfielders - all three have been awful.

Keeper ducks into it,50- 50. Yellow would have been suitable. Ruined the game now.

Terrible defending by js as usual. Cba watching bye rest, gonna go back to the beach!

Just seen the replay. Very dangerous game. Mane kicked the gk's face. Right red card. Carra is right ...Unfortunately

Agree - it's dangerous play. I'm sure Moss wouldn't have given it to us at the other end, but just taken on it's own merits it's a sending-off. Still think Moss has given them ****ing everything, like.

That's nonsense mate, every set of fans does it, I thought it harsh. Looking at replays it seems worse but it's all slo Mo now
Nothing wrong with fans having that opinion of it being harsh it did look it. Some other rival fans also calling it harsh, some undecided, some saying red.

Agree. It's not malicious but it is dangerous. Bloody unfortunate though, we'd have scored a couple. It's just one game and there are 3 games in the next 2.5 weeks that he can play in so not all bad.

I actually understand why the ref has sent him off but I think he is wrong
I do not think that decision will be consistent throughout the season
The goalie made it look worse by bending his head into the challenge
He goes with his foot no talk - poss free kick poss not
Just think was wrong decision
I don't think it has altered course of game
Only one winner today sadly :(

McCunty and Waddle crying over how brave Ederson was

Despite the massive theatre of medical staff on the pitch it's decided there's no need to go to hospital

Exactly, Nev saying ridiculous decision, Carra saying it's right - just opinions in the game.

Bod just talking ****

Do we settle for this or do we go for goals and leave ourselves to finish 6-0 ?

I would settle for this 2-0 score right now.

Don't think we have the option to 'settle' with this defence.I'd bring Gomez on for TAA, Milner for Windy and Ox for Bobby. Stick Salah up on his own and hope for the best.

Mane didnt intend to do that, I am not suggesting that.
But he made an unreasonable challenge that he shouldn't have made and ended up seriously injuring someone.
It was a red card.
