The European games certainly a stand out, however, my favorite moment was on the pitch after winning the Leeds game and celebrating the end of our great season when we hoped we would be Champions.
The players, our greatest team ever, and Dave Sexton plus the coaching staff were in the directors box of the SAR and were having great fun with the massed crowd in front of them. Quite a reversal of roles! They were thanking us for the support, and we were thanking them for the privilege and pleasure to watch such a great team.
Nobody wanted to leave the ground. I I think it was a unique moment of magic.

Gotta agree with you 999s great memory
One that lives with me was losing to Leeds 1-0, when we had 90% possession I think it was in 1969 the year we were relegated...but for that one single match we were magnificent. Am I miss remembering that?
To many to remember after coming to loftus road for last 59years, yes that Oldham match was a magic atmosphere, first game in Europe was good & fact they all was, I'm grateful for my dad for bringing me here & may he rest in peace.

Far too many to mention, but Beth if I remember the Leeds game in 69 correctly it was an evening game and in those days the floodlights were kept on half power until kick off, but on that night they forgot to turn them up to full power and only did so as Leeds scored, kind off summed up that season.....
The European games against Brann, Slovan Bratislava, Cologne and AEK stand out, the most one sided 0-0 draw against West Ham in 73, 3 disallowed goals and hit the woodwork umpteen times, demolition of the great Liverpool side in 75, Cup replay against Coventry with Stanley scoring with the last kick off the game.........
Latterly it's more to do with the social side, travelling over with mates, meeting up with lads and lasses that I've met via this site that are memorable rather than the games. Lets face it Loftus Road is really fit for purpose, it's not a Theatre of Dreams, or Stadium of Light or any other soulless corporate bowl, it's a humble ground set in the middle of houses with floodlights poking up above the roof tops, in short it's a proper football ground and for all it's faults i still get a buzz when seeing it.......

I agree Nines. Luckily I persuaded my older brother not to go home at ht.
Yup I think that was it...They scored very early and we pummelled and pummelled and pummelled them. Wonderful performance...but we lost...and were horribly relegated.
Another memory, and life changing (for me and for a few others) was of course the Chelsea match 23rd Oct 2011.
I was sitting Ellerslie Road block W....5 rows from front (it was before I had made friends with the retrobates I now sit with). So I was in direct line with the "incident". I saw it all happen right in front of me...I saw Terry call Anton a " **** black ****" (the only word I can type, is the one Terry eventually got done for). I saw the reaction of our players. I viscerally felt the reaction of our crowd. It was the most nasty match I can ever remember. I shouted myself horse with words I have never said before. I have never ever wanted to win a match so much (well till the play-offs).
As I was driving home...I realised I had a black spot in my field of vision in my right eye, which is with me to this day (a burst blood vessel).... a permenant memento of how near exploding I got.
Soon after Terry and Cappello would lose their jobs as a result of that match; the effect on the whole Rangers team , as they supported Anton and the pressure on Ferdinand as he and his family were villified for telling the truth on scum Terry was longlasting, not sure Anton was ever the same player again.
I few other random memories from that day. Before the game David Luiz came over to sign a young Rs autograph book before the match even though he was being sworn at and insulted by idiots around the kid (still have a lot of time for Luiz ...and thank you for the penalty too). If you forced me to name my favourite Scum player it would be Luiz I think.
Mata being too scared to take a corner kick. Lampard just being a complete spoilt brat for the whole match. Bosingwa being completely shiiiiite...I am glad we were never stupid enough to buy a player like him...(hang on a minute?).
There were quite a few other good moments that season too; beating Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal on the trot (when the running was so difficult, there was no way we could stay up)...That last game against stoke with 10 minutes left and Bolton leading 2-0 against WBA, with us needing a goal.....Cisse scoring in the last minute.... with the news that West brom had equalised at the same moment.
I have been around Loftus Road for about 50 of those 100 years...and it has given me some of my best memories....Thank you

Well I haven't been around for all of the 100 years, just the majority of them. A lot of my highlights have already been mentioned, but here are a few others......
John Collins scoring a hat-trick as we came from behind three times to draw with table-topping Hull City in 1965.
Putting 6 past Alex Stepney as we beat promotion-chasing Millwall 6-1 in 1966.
Beating a star-studded Leicester City 4-2 on the way to winning the League Cup.
1-1 against Leicester again in our first game in the top flight.
Andy Gray's thunderbolt against Man United.
Kenny Sansom knocking Arsenal out of the FA cup.
Samba Diakite scoring against Arsenal.
Blagging away-supporting pals into the SA road season-ticket holders bar.
Chatting with Bowlesy in said bar.

There were many special moments that season but Taarabt's pass and Routledge's first touch and finish were divine.
November 1973, Qpr 8 Sheff Wed 2, League cup, but typical of us we lost 3-0 to Plymouth Argyle in the next round
Agree with QPRski, that 2-0 win against a Leeds team that had been European Cup finalists the year before was an unforgettable afternoon. Packed in like sardines and the euphoria after Stan sored the second goal and the aftermatch celebrations on the pitch that seemed to go on forever. Just glad I was there to experience it...
