There's a sense that we can turn City over, we've had a bit of joy playing them in recent seasons but I don't think it'll be the goal fest people think it will be. I think it'll be 2-1 either way.

Barcalona did it with Bravo being the league goalie and Ter stegen was the CL keeper.

Wasn't Bravo then dropped or sold after that ...

I thought one of the three was harsh because Matip played him into trouble. But he should be doing better with the others.

He didn't have much to do but he dealt with anything in the box and his distribution is so much better than Migs.

Hopefully he can push on an improve. He's a young, cocky keeper who is better suited to our high line.

I think that City are due a result against us and we are due a poor result against one of the top six.
Just going with laws of averages :) so think this will be a 3-1 loss :(

If they play well they will get the support, (from all but the most bloody-minded of us) - but that is different to wanting to risk important games on someone who isn't yet ready for them.
Of course players need game time to come up to speed, but they have to reach the required level of competence before they're ready to be thrown in. Perhaps Klopp thinks Karius has reached that, and it's his decision, but so far Karius hasn't instilled me with confidence.
A frank assessment isn't a demolition job.

That's the worry, I'm all for giving him a chance but the CL is important and do we want to risk being out early doors, that being said he's not that bad and as long as we play well as a team he should be ok. It's the silly mistakes that cause concern with him, it's almost like we've sorted Mingolet so now we want to back to the old Mingolet.

So with Wijnaldum having issues away from home do we change things and add Chamberlain?
