Maybe not but it's possible that the rot has set in just enough by now. This summer was critical. Dump Gunnersaurus' older brother and sell Sanchez and Özil and there was something to work with........Now? By next summer Özil 'The Victorious' and Sánchez will have followed The Ox out of there but with no money coming in. Wilshire next summer and Ramsey, Welbeck, Ospina and Montreal in 2019 also have contracts that are up. How many of those are going to commit to a club that has truly lost its way and is now in civil war? Maybe some would stay, if Wenger is replaced, but if you add in the old and injured (Cech, Mertesacker, Cazorla, Koscielny) and there ain't much quality left to build around or flog to buy in replacements. There's Bellerin, Walcott, Giroud, Elneny, Xhaka, Coquelin, Mustafa, Holding and the 2 new signings. It ain't great whether you've got Wenger managing it or Massimiliano Allegri. So, is Stan willing to spend the half a billion pounds needed to turn that bunch of **** into something competitive? I can't see it with his current commitments in the NFL. He's pretty much borrowed to the hilt against his share of the club to build a stadium Stateside and I just don't see Stan financing anything himself, especially after buying that ranch. It's kind of funny that they survived building The Emirates only for a stadium being built in Los Angeles to bring it all crashing down. He could sell to Usmanov but why? He bought the cow for nothing and now he's got all that milk coming in from those good people on ArsenalFanTV. Stan's an expert at milking.
Speculation on whether AFC is part of the collateral that Kroenke has had to offer in order to get funding for that NFL stadium ??
La Liga have contacted UEFA to investigate 'excessive' spending and breach of FFP by clubs that aren't called Barcelona or Real Madr.......Sorry, that's a bit too specific, non-Spanish teams. Nothing else required.

But other than that it all went swimmingly? I think that my favourite part is Bellerin demanding a transfer to Barca, only for them to buy someone completely different!
The opportunity is there for Spurs and others to send the Goons into the CL wilderness while they have an increasingly nasty wage bill battle.
ABBA really did rely on makeup a lot, didn't they? Sadly, I think that the real act are actually less attractive! Singers or footballers in drag? please log in to view this image
It's being suggested that Arsenal are very interested in signing North Korean striker, Han Kwang-Song. In his home country he's said to be a rocket with an explosive finish. Thank you.
This one is almost good enough for our comedy corner... Adrien Silva: Fifa rejects Leicester City's application for midfielder - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41118927 In case that link doesn't work, Leicester were 14 seconds late in registering Adrien Silva in their squad. However, they still legally own the player and are therefore obligated to pay his wages until the next possible chance to register him - January 1st.
Liverpool FC's 'sister club' the Boston Red Sox have been caught cheating. Batters have been wearing smart watches and receiving messages as to what pitch had been called for............. suggestions that Liverpool's Transfer Committee have been wearing dumb watches and receiving messages as to how to **** up transfer dealings are being investigated.
It's hard to have any sympathy when they've had months to sort it out, though. I suspect it will be allowed to go, through. Arsenal's dodgy Arshavin deal was far, far later.
And the spread of the jobsworth Nazi has reached as far as FIFA. Here is the official in question who did the Silva paperwork :
Rumour has it Walmart is in trouble in the States because Amazon has decimated their business. Perhaps the goons might not only have to be self sufficient but might help bail out Kroenke's other businesses as well. I think we should try and get Amazon as a sponsor for the new WHL.
The Amazon Arena? Sounds like it should be in South America, but I can think of worse names, I guess.
