i have just been listening to talkshite while doing the breakfast, some idiot said on the carroll transfer " he is now at a club where they will worship him and a club where the supporters are fanatic's". excuse me, did he not just turn his back on a club where the hero worship of him bordered on the homo-erotic? and a club who's supporters are second only to us in fanatacism. now i don't want to seem to be coming down on the side of the mags, but once again it just shows how ignorant the contributors on talkshite are when it comes to life in the north east. and i promise not to listen to talkshite again (well not very often anyway)
 
They don't know what they are talking about! Liverpool are the media darlings and I will guess they always will be. As much as I dislike giving praise to them up the road, no-one can dount their support for their club
 
It's ignorance like this that makes me want us to finish 6th so much!

We can take the piss and beat the mags with quite a few sticks but their passion for their club is up there with ours.

Talkshite are simply saying stuff to appease thre plastic pool fans.
 
The Tossers at TALK SPORT will never give Sunderland or the North East for that matter their due credit.I actually had the fortune (or misfortune depending how you want to look at it) of getting through to the station to speak on Drive time with Adrian Durham and Goughie at the time of the Bent transfer and the Moron Durham defended his move stating that he was 'entitled' to move to a 'bigger' club, and therein lies the main problem with the mass media in this country the ******ds still think we live in the dark ages. i live on Merseyside and certainly the Kopites (blues not so bad) think we have no devine right to be 6th in the league. It chuffin pisses me off !!!
