Any parent worth their salt will send their kids to boxing classes. Doesn't even need to stick it out, just get the word out amongst their age group in the playground that the wee man boxes.

However, if your kid has a visible disability, is ugly, a ******, or wears glasses, then they're on their own and should be abandoned. Same for any kids who befriend them. As a child you have to be prepared to leave people behind when the occasions arise that you need to pick sides or new pals.

There is a definite tendency towards the stabby from our colonial cousins. Most will shy away from a bare-knuckle square go and will usually reach for an equalizer of some sort. They prefer to use a knife, gun, cosh, belt etc rather than go full Mandingo with the fists.
