I'll be amazed if we sign Gomes.
Sounds like Moutinho all over, IMO. I see a "we tried" situation.
Sorry to be ultra negative, but that's all I seem to remember happening with our deals that are this late on deadline day.
Fingers crossed.
He's ****ing playing. He came on a few minutes ago for Moutinho, of all people.
If that's a sign, then you're definitely right! <laugh>

In Llorente you have a very cheap goal machine. Very different to what you have - more of an old fashioned English style centre forward. So all those free kicks Ally etc win by diving will give an excellent platform to tee him up.
Don't expect a series of blistering 90 minute performances but used right he will turn losses to draws and draws to wins.
Very sad to see him go.

Just to make things worse for Arsenal, Koscielny has just gone down injured in their game vs Holland. Looked pretty nasty.

Oh, and Lemar has just shown what he's all about. Incredible goal in the top corner.

Why does this always happen at the death?
Probably absolute bullshit, but I will be sat here hoping. <laugh>

NewsNow Spurs carries an item about Llorente bringing shades of RdV which I find interesting because I compared Barklay to RdV shades. A little confused why we want Llorente as his recent stats aren't that great.

Permanent? Thought he might be loaned out, but I'm quite surprised that he's been sold.
Must've wanted more...
It was suggested back in January that Miller and Ryan Loft would be leaving in the summer, so it isn't a complete surprise
