I'm sure he wont get 15 games pre Lesta, however if he can take the lesta result forward he will get many more games.
The first two games were not acceptable in any way shape or form.

I can understand people getting vexed after the Ipswich (and Cardiff) games, I was as pissed off as anyone, but we are in a transitional season this time around and we all know how loyal Steve Lansdown is to his staff, could be said too loyal perhaps... Millen will be going nowhere for the forseeable future unless we implode spectacularly and he loses the dressing room ala Johnson. Whether Millen is the right man to take us forward remains to be seen but as it stands he's got the keys to the office right now and as such he gets my backing.

With transitional seasons the expectation is forward progress and I don't see that happening yet.

Any decision regarding KM has to be made on rational grounds and that can only mean positive results and a win at Leicester is only one game.

Perhaps 10 games is a rational point at which to make any decision on KM's future at AG. Therefore 7 games to go and surely the top brass must have a line in the sand dictating what will happen then - or do they?

Could be an interesting time ahead and, who knows, maybe the NM situation will be sorted out by then and new players on board which could change everything. No matter what, something needs to change and most important of all is the results on the pitch. Only positve results will change the general opinion of KM and I include myself in that category. Let's see what happens by mid to late October and go from there.

    I want rid of Millen.

From a fit squad he chose a ridiculous set up and players for Ipswich and Cardiff.
Everyone prior to those games in the ground expected the worse - and got it.
He should 'know' his team and squad, the fans knew it was mad, but he didn't.
He needed 2 terrible results to change the team.
Ask yourselves how did we know PRIOR to Ipswich and that idiot didn't.

And it will keep happening, he hasn't got a clue.
I want a PROactive manager - not a REactive manager

Every time the new manager argument rears its head no one ever leaves a valid suggestion as to who should, and would take the job.

I'm willing to bet that, with no resources available, we'd get absolutely no one better than Millen to take the role.

Will reserve judgement until I see what side KM puts out against Portsmouth and how he has them playing.
David Jones is around and about and did a pretty good job for Cardiff in difficult times for them.

Don't be silly - I'm sure that Dave Jones would love to come here. You keep banging on about no resources Ender but I have to strongly disagree with you on that. Add 2 defenders to this squad and it is more than capable of making the play-offs.

Our problem since the first season has been the lack of organisation, tactical ability and leadership both on and off the pitch. Playing hoofball with the players we have is completely unacceptable.

I thought that this was the reason why Steve Wiggley was bought in but if anything, we've got worse, not better.

Leicester was a big result but, we have to build on it - play the ball on the deck and keep feeding Nicky with decent supply plus play Brett with him and we'll do just fine....

A poor performance (note I said performance and not result) will take us back to square one...

I fully go along with Redprint & Premiershiporbust's comments.
Having said that, it happened quite a bit last season..Millen seems to do better away with his tactics than he does at home.....Interesting.
If (hope) we did change manager, I'd like to see someone who has reputation for playing good football.....on the ground not hoof and hope.
I've said before, someone like Roberto Di Matteo or even a long shot Hoddle....he's looking I think

    "he's looking I think"

I heard him on the radio and he said he had an eye on an international job if it came up! I dont think we were on his radar.

Millen needs to go now. I'm sick of him and his pathetic excuses and team selections, and quite how he's become our manager having been part of 2 failed previous set ups is a bloody mystery.

I have no doubt that the new stadium will happen and we should be building for that time and then an assault on promotion in due course, but we've already missed out on all of the best managers that were available when GJ left to realise that just yet, and Millen is laughable as a prospective Premiership manager. Dave Jones is ok at this level but I don't think he's what we need. A young and dynamic manager with good contacts and respect within the game fits the bill. Maybe even a Darren Ferguson ???
What we did need was a Steve Cotterill, Malky Mackay or Eddie Howe in my opinion.
