I don't get everyone saying ox best position is wing back. Have they ever seen him play there, he can't defend in a wide role at all.

I know, arsenal have played about 6 games with wing backs in Wengers 20 years and that's now his best position because we aren't ever likely to play that formation

Look at his assist and goalscoring record while playing out wide or as an attacking midfield player and you might get a clue as to why he couldn't hold down a place in either position and why he was shunted to wing back by Wenger.
I've seen him live on a number of occasions and he's never impressed. He's like Walcott only nowhere near as quick and with a ****e haircut

I admitted earlier stats aren't great but how many of those games are 10 minute cameos at the end?
Hes not aa good as or current wide options but ther than Salah and Mane we have no one to play there so he offers great cover there with his pace and ability to beat a man. In games he's shown glimpses of real quality and potential.
Worth £35m? Normally no, but what is value this window?
my issue is people claiming his best role is wing back when he's played there about 5 times in his whole career and never really stood out because he can't defend in a 1v1 situation.
I think it's hard to judge Arsenal players properly in last few years. Wenger has seemingly lost the plot and all he ever does ir rotate his wingers and doesn't really let any of them hold down a place (although not helped by fact he's been injured a bit).
On on a side note, his Mrs is fit
