Mods, suddenly all Spurs messages in the board are being sent to my email address and I don't want them, how can I stop them please.
It should be an option in your preferences, DGC. If switching it doesn't work, then try logging out and back in again, then changing the option. Updates us on what happens, please.
Froome has increased his lead in the Vuelta. Aiming for the first TdF and Vuelta double since Hinault in 1978 and only the 3rd ever.
Due to the fact that up to 1994, the Vuelta was raced in April. Now tis more a race for TdF absentees/failures.
Thought I had it sorted then just got a random email alert for the Chavs game in 2016!! Its always good to hear from NSIS, but WTF!!
If you go to the list that comes up under your profile name, then it's at the bottom, DGC. I'm guessing here, unfortunately. Hopefully it'll help.
Switching off and on again is always the answer. Just ask the experts. please log in to view this image
I logged out PNP but they still come to my email. Could you cancel my membership please and I'll reapply again later. I woke up with 400 emails to cancel,it's too much hassle
I'm also getting emails from threads i'm watching on other boards, how this has happened i don't know so please PNP, cancel my subscription asap, I'm getting tired of it. Thank you. I'll be back.
If you click on your user name on the top right corner of the page, it will bring up a menu. Click on preferences. It will bring up various options which you can opt into or out of by adding or removing the tick in the box to the left. The top option relates to receiving emails in response in posts you make - untick this option.
I'll see if I can get it sorted and if not, then I'll have your account closed, DGC. Others are complaining about it too, including some of the mods.
Just received a reply of yours PNP in Spurs v Arsenal thread, something is wrong as I tried Luke's suggestion but they still come.
Sorry DGC, but I think that you might have to wait until tomorrow, as I've asked what's going on and got no reply. It's quite late and I doubt that any of those that could do anything are online. I'll be logging off soon myself, but I can understand your frustration. It must be very annoying. No idea what's causing it, but I assume it's related to the recent server issues.
As there has been more or less every year since 1995. The fact remains. The Vuelta/TdF double has always been possible on paper because of the time gaps between the two (the Giro/TdF double is much harder) . The problem in the old days is a Vuelta contender would have to have get quite good GC form three months earlier than needed for the TdF, and the weather was not always that clement (more chance of illness etc) .
