Just got back in from work, had no internet access all day and jumped on the laptop expecting Spurs to have at least announced 1 signing today and nothing absolutely nothing.

Why do Spurs take so long to get signings completed?? There is now 51 hours left of the transfer window and we need to add at least 3, ideally four more players to the squad.

We are led to believe that we have signings already lined up its just a case of crossing the T'S but surely we are pushing it fine to get 3 or 4 over the line in time?? !!!

If we dont sign at least one top quality attacking player then we have got no chance of getting silverware this season.

As good as Carli Lloyd is mate, she won't be allowed to play in the men's game, sadly.

Unless you meant Federico Santander? I didn't realise he was on our list of targets.

I'm here all night.

Very good. Superb knowledge of football trivia there. DOF Rose would definitely have to google those players.

I'd give you my coat, but @Dier Hard now has it.

Today has seemed like the transfer window has moved up a gear. There's been quite a bit of progress from several teams.
The telegraph are now reporting that Chelsea have bid £25m for Barkley.
Everyone is starting to make their moves now and we need to be very careful we don't get left behind by waiting until deadline day.

If only the club took my advice and approached the transfer window like I approach a Steam sale: have in mind one or two highly-priced items, four or five mid-priced items, and as the sale winds down go for the cheap punts - and pick things up consistantly throughout.

Wrong. Absolutely **** all knowledge.
Just typed "Lloyd footballer" and "Santander footballer" into google. <laugh>

....Didn't think I'd have much success if I tried "HSBC footballer", "TSB footballer", or "royal bank of Scotland footballer", somehow. <laugh>

As opposed to the general approach to it, which is to buy loads of **** while drunk and forget about it for months.
Also known as the West Ham.

On eBay I'm a true Levyite. I never bid before 4 seconds from the end. If it ain't cheap and dirty, I'm not interested.
