I wouldnt read anything into twitter comments Wakey. I use it a fair bit but remember its made of all sorts and difficult to figure out who is who. For every useful knowledgeable tweet, theres probably ten that know nothing but like to pretend they do
 
Some are quoting 10mil which could be a steal, but like any rumours with Leeds I wait until they are in the official site, nice to be linked with quality though!!!

Dwight Gayle was ruled out of the running yesterday along with Hugill as both way over priced. £20m for Gayle who is obviously a Championship player only as he will never score in the Prem. Proves the point about UK player prices being stupid

Well the rumours are still going on with Benitez being told to sell before he can buy !, we will know midnight Thursday , I love deadline day .. I plan to do **** all tomorrow!!

I'm finding this comment hard to understand. Firstly I'm not arguing the fact UK players are over priced but let's look at some facts.

Gayle can go for £18m the reported price we got for Wood. Question one is who is the better player, Gayle or Wood?

Secondly why can't he score at PL level, he did okay for Palace but was hampered by injury.

Why is Lasogga a better player, what facts or stats are these based on? A player on loan for 12 months is better than a proven player at this level?

Not entirely true or very twisted <ok> Scored 25 in 25 for the U19 Bundesliga West division, not really this level is it?

Preseason friendlies, we have no idea how good the opposition was...

I'm not trying to bash, just pointing out there are two ways to look at stats, I just think we should wait and see before claiming he is going to walk us into the PL ;) <ok>

If there are announcements to be made do you think the club will wait until the 31st to get maximum PR out of it or will we get the announcements on the 30th so as not to be drowned out by the "big clubs" ?
