Doubt it, if fans of any club are used to it then it's us.... N we seem to do alright ;)

You going to Palace then?

I went last season, so probs best if I stay away tbh.

Yeah looking forward to it, nice old ground early ko on a Saturday <ok>

Surely it can't be worse than last year?

Right?!

They still have Benteke though, yeah? And we still have Fraze.

I like Sellhurst, proper old ground as you say, even though you can only see 3/4 of the pitch from the Arthur Askey stand (or whatever it's called).

Used to go there when I was a kid after we moved to South London. In those days it could hold 75-80,000, mostly standing.

There were big grass banks behind the terraces at each end. When it was wet and muddy you couldn't stand properly as you'd start sliding down the bank!...

<laugh> When was this, during the war Rodney?

Reminds me of the stories my ex father in law used to tell me about the ash- bank behind one of the goals at Stokes old ground - it was basically a grassed over slag heap!

I used to score about 2 minutes from the ground. Loads of dealers within about 5 mins of each other. Good place to live for any up and coming dealers.
