News of Sanchez has come out of the blue (in the last couple of days) but is he someone we should be developing for another club? He had one great season and nothing last year and not much before, OK he's young but can we afford another gamble especially as we are in far more need of speed up front, goals and possibly 2 full backs. Apparently we're offering a guaranteed starting pace. http://sportwitness.co.uk/portugues...-swansea-city-claim-guaranteed-starting-spot/
Don't believe a word of it re Sanchez myself. Dont see him coming up on the computer program that's deciding who we should or shouldn't loan. So to me its yet another fantasy report in the same vain as the one about the 'invisible bid' we made for Jo or the transparent interest we had in Chadli. I doubt we've made any approach for Bony too. We have a couple more days in the fantasy transfer window and I cant wait for all the bullshit to end.
Tells me two things , Llorente wants to go to Chelsea for his last big chance at the " Big Time " with the club ready to oblige him and it also tells me the club already know behind the scenes that a new striker is definitely coming .
Why should we let him go cheap because he wants to leave? He's under contract and shouldn't be sold for less than £25m.
My birthday tomorrow and all I ever seem to want for my birthday is a good transfer or two . This could be my lucky year .
Because we have a history of doing such things with players that earn it , Llorente falls into that category by leaps and bounds .Remember , we only paid about 5 million for him .
Earn it , in case it's passed you by the players are very well rewarded for their efforts , earn it FFS
roof are you serious, so because he has been nice and scored a few goals and not forgetting the 40 odd grand a week he has earned we should let him go cheap. I am up for letting him go if he wants to, (would rather keep him), but if they want him they pay what he is worth. Minimum 15m.
Nothing passed me by , all players are overpaid .. it's disrelevant . Williams earned his exit , Siggy earned his exit ... it's the way we operate .
Williams had been here years and they paid 12m for him. Llorente 1 season and he has earned it. We don't operate that way we aim to make a profit off everyone we sell if we can, We are not in the habit of letting our best players go on the cheap, just the ****e ones.
Who's going on the cheap , were getting 15 million . 30 million was a ridiculous ask IMO . A quick 10 million is good business . Just because the club asks 30 million , it doesn't mean he's worth that . the only way to get more is to play Chelsea against Everton but I think it's to late for that . Llorente is old and injured and my not get his form back again .
We only sell players to bigger clubs when they meet our valuation. I couldn't care if we paid a fiver for him. In this market he's worth £25m easily.
It's all about opinions lefty and mine is we were in bigger trouble if we didn't have Llorente last season than we would have been without Siggy
Well if nobody meets the valuation we tell them to **** off and keep the player. Its really that simple.
