WE had different players, and younger Britton, Dyer and Routledge then and a different system. If we sell Llorente and sign Bony a backwards step in my opinion.

He should have been sold last summer when Stoke offered £8m for the sicknote.

Swans fans make me sick on here..All they do is moan moan and more moan and have no respect for any player that are in the first team and play regular....They expect us to be like one of the big teams and we will never reach that high in a million years.....Well come back to reality and understand that we are one of the minnows in a big pond and what we have achieved is nothing short of a miracle and every game is our cup final. Every player and past player has kept us in the premiership for 7 seasons and we have our legends like Rangel and Leon who can still be called upon if needed.....There is no need to slag off good players who have done their best and no player is perfect they all have off days and makes mistakes. We are what we are a club with a lot of lower league standard players and that is the fault of those who run the club and not the players who will give their best.....We are a club full of one game wonders so who's fault is that....

Anyone else think this transfer window will peter out with no one of substance coming in?
After all we did beat Palace away and have 4 points from 3 games.

Reports now that we could be lowering our demands and letting Llorente go to Chelsea on the cheap.

    Dafydd Pritchard, BBC Wales Sport

"Swansea City's summer has been dominated by Gylfi Sigurdsson's protracted £45m move to Everton.

Although it has given the club ample funds to rebuild, there is a perception the Swans have been slow to act and that last year's American takeover has yet to make a significant difference in spending power.

Former striker Wilfried Bony is expected to rejoin from Manchester City before the window closes, possibly as a replacement for last season's top scorer Fernando Llorente, a target for Chelsea.

West Brom winger Nacer Chadli remains a target, with Swansea head coach Paul Clement saying he wants at least two new signings in attacking positions.
Their other business has been neat if slightly underwhelming, with further changes in midfield seeing Sam Clucas and Roque Mesa arriving for a combined £25m or so, and Jack Cork leaving for £10m.

There is work to do if Swansea are to avoid another relegation battle."
